totally disgusted by cod roe i've had burgers thicker than the pancake thwy had the nerve to supply for price. last time I will be ordering from them.

When we got the food the chips were cold and felt like yesterdays not fresh cooked, pie was cold and fish was very greasy so not a good meal at all.

Ordered at 17.25pm arrived at 20.15pm missing food, chips were cold fish was greasy,not a very nice experience at all won't be going back there not after spending £49 and getting what we did

2 hours ive waited was told it would be delivered at 18.45pm the time has changed 3 times and now saying 20.10pm ( the time is 19.45) order arrived at 20.15, the chips were cold and hard i had a battered sausage missing, i want a refund of £3.20

John's telepathy can be entertaining: like some of the far bigger fast food networks the products are consistently satisfying - that's enough to make me a regular. Also, New Cod is often faster than the fast food giants and always delicious. It's value for money and well worth a try. If your lucky, you can catch the customer parking space right outside the shop. New Cod's already an old favourite and glad to see it reopen recently - a FIVE! :)) Also, lately, the complimentary free crisps thrown in with meal orders at the counter are a real treat (naughty but nice). 2024 update: AJ is the perfect new host & Charlotte is, similarly, a cashier who goes the extra mile with her unfailingly amusing customer banter. I'll still be a regular - even when the prices increase in the near future: New Cod quality is priceless.

My ‘go to’ place for fish & chips as it never disappoints. The food is always great and the staff are all really nice and friendly.

I have tried this shop for 4 to 5 time never disopointed wonderful food for a reasonable price and the portions are generous. Haddock and roasted chicken 10/10 Will definitely come back again. Lovely staff and chef!

Been here 3-4 times this year and never been more satisfied, freshly cooked fish and chips every time. One of the best I’ve tasted in a long time around Leigh on sea. Food is ok. Whenever we go in there nothing is ever ready end up waiting for ages for either the sausages to be cold or chips average.

This is definitely one of the best fish and chips I have ever had. The batter was so thin and crispy and cooked to perfection. The service was really great. Though I went on the weekend and the shop was really busy, the service was quick. They double checked the orders and packed along with the condiments. Overall great experience. Will definitely visit again.

This looks like a standard Fish and Chippy on a suburban road, however it exceeds appearances. Service was great with accurate advice on the portion size and customer requirements. I went for the Small Cod and chips which was great value,taste, quality fish and a full portion. The batter was crispy,oil was fresh,dry and light . The staff were young but very knowledgeable and cooked the takeaway perfectly. You won't be disappointed here.

This amazing fish and chip shop on Eastwood road is the best!! The crispy batter on the fish is always perfect, and the chips are so tasty and fluffy. Plus, the portions are generous, and the staff is super friendly. It's definitely a 5-star spot for a classic fish and chips experience!

Very friendly atmosphere and staff, with freshly-made delicious food that are great portion-sizes. It’s easy to get to and parking just outside the shop, plus ordering online from Uber Eats or Just Eat is easy. Their open on a Sunday, which is convenient because not a lot of shops are!
