Worst chip shop in town . Don’t waste your time and money

Phoned ahead so only had to wait a few mins for my order. Had rock and chips and it was lovely. Batter on the fish was perfect. First time I have been to this fish shop but will certainly return.

I asked for chips and a gerkin I said don't put to much salt on the chips i get home and the chips are covered in salt so straight in the bin what a waste of money will never go there again

Just had sausage and chips. In a word disgusting. Think I may have had lunch time chips warmed up.

2 young girls in shop . Scampi so over cooked . Chips re heated dry and horrible . Cod was greasy. Was a nice place seems to be going downhill . Shame

Always nice and freshly cooked while you wait . Cod is always good but have recently been having the half chicken and chips which we share as more then enough for two plenty of chips and the chicken is so tender and moist, service is great too thanks guys

Food is really good, service is a little slow as nd that's all that stopped it getting 5 stars, the service was fine besides a bit slow, very polite and well mannered. Try the cod and chips if you get a chance, absolutely bloody brilliant! Look forward to coming back again.

The food was wrapped up & left on the side (not under heat) while we waited for chips to cook (re-cooked) that seemed to be supermarket chips and not proper chip shop chips? Lots of them seemed as though they'd been fried several time and inedible, My children left there's which doesn't usually happen, I've had good food in the past but this wasn't very good at all unfortunately?!

Lovely food, great staff, excellent service, Great selection of food to choose from all very nice, rack of ribs with bbq sauce are fantastic. Highly recommend.

Very expensive,Miniscule amount of chips for £2.20. The quality was fantastic and the staff were friendly. But very dissatisfied with portion sizes.

Not a good meal I'm afraid, batter flat, fell off the fish. Cod was OK at best, slightly overcooked. The worst saveloy I've tasted, pappy and rank, the dogs got half of it and I wish I hadn't been so hungry that I ate the other half. Chips were OK, not good enough to save the meal though. This place used to be so much better. The only good thing was that the fish shop was empty, which says something.

One of very few "chippies" in the area to open regularly at lunchtime since lockdowns lifted. They do a good value "lunchtime special". Everything freshly cooked to order.

Order medium cod & chips you get a mass of chips and quite a small piece of fish, not the best. Cod on the block is so much better.

I am very fussy about fish and chips and was slightly weary as I hadn’t been here before. Pleased to say it is possibly the nicest chippy in the country. Wow! Amazing. I will make this a regular. Keep it up. Thanks guys 😎
