Munch Kings in Southend-on-Sea

Been twice and the chips are overpriced and hard as a rock keep giving another go and just keep getting disappointed won't use again

The perri wings are honestly the best I've had. Far better than nandos. It's hard to find wings that aren't crispy coated. The flavour was fantastic.

Had a sausage in batter as feeling a bit peckish, unfortunately not the best quality and not exactly cheap either. To be fair it didn't actually state there was any meat in the sausage on the menu..... Not exactly good value I'm afraid.

On numerous occasions tried coming in on opening hours but shutters are halfway shut. 5 attempts tried coming and purchasing but their shutters were halfway shut. Won’t bother trying again, wasted my journey.

Great service, we called ahead so everything was ready but still piping hot. Vege burger is lovely and chips great. Prices are reasonable.

Proper nice fish n chips, one large chips will give 3 good portions, the fish portions are also generous, a large cod will hang over your plate as it should and all very tasty, I highly recommend 👍

Rip off 8 pound for nuggets and a portion of chips never again will I send someone to get food from here and chips are soggy and cold

Not great chips, seems tonight we were served the dregs, dried up hard chips and cold, must have been sitting there a while. Very disappointed. The fish and the pie were good, but we won't be back!!!

Great food, and really nice service

The fish and chips are by far the best locally. Nicely cooked, freshly cut potatoes for the chips and not frozen bought in ones. The owner is friendly and looks after all of the customers and us regulars. Tried others locally while he was away and realised just how good he is..... won’t go anywhere else!!!
