The best restaurants in Fulbourn South Cambridgeshire East of England

We visited the six bells in passing on a long journey. The exterior of the pub looks welcoming and well kept, there was ample parking to the rear of the building and we entered via the back door. The washroom facilities were clean and fresh, always a good start to an impromptu visit. The rest of the pub did not disappoint, clean and fresh smelling throughout. A very friendly and interesting pub, not forgetting the garden area which very much has an Alice in wonderland feel with its design. Behind the bar was a young gentleman who was extremely helpful when my partner asked regarding the ales. Dan (if I recall correctly) was happy to allow him to try the various products available. I myself went for a glass of wine, equally refreshing and served in a clean, polished glass. My children had a Coke Zero and fresh orange juice. Our dog was even offered a bowl of water :) All in all a very cosy stop and we would definitely visit again when passing that way. The barman, who we believe was there for a short while to rebuild the site, explained how the pub has new management taking over. We wish them all the best for their future at the six bells. It clearly has a great potential and future. Thank You for having us 🙂

I hosted my son's Christening reception at The White Hart in lovely Fulbourn and wow- Chris and his team did a wonderful job for us. They decorated the space for us as we'd asked, were extremely friendly and welcoming to our guests, and above all the food was fantastic. It was all delicious and beautifully presented. Our guests commented on how good the food was (amazing homemade Scotch eggs and sausage rolls!) and also what a lovely pub it is. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The White Hart to others and would consider it for hosting family events in future, and will certainly be back to enjoy meals in the pub. The roast beef in particular was absolutely delicious 😋. The portions are very big, tasty and very good quality. The puds were fabulous too! Good selection of drinks with excellent friendly service. All in all, a great lunch in a lovely venue. We will be back!

We first visited about 10 years ago when our daughter moved from Scotland to this area. We went in and were immediately spotted by the host "Yes sir, what can I get you?" with a welcoming smile. I was unfamiliar with the local ales, and was invited to try a selection free of charge. "Are you eating" he enquired. "Then have a seat, I'll bring your drinks over and get your order". And so it has continued for about 10 years. A place to really enjoy. In 2 weeks this will end. I just hope that when we next return, the new owner can continue this service. In the meantime, thank you!

£9 pounds for 3 cold takeaway sausage rolls at 4pm. Rip off. didn't display the price either hence ended up buying it as the guy had packed already. His friendly attitude doesn't cool the pain of such waste of money.

beeen going to Kirin on and off for the last 3 years, honestly foods been great, even if it has gotten abit pricier due to the inflation, really recommend the chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce, and the special rice/noodles always hit the spot, if you can do take the prawn crackers (huge, tasty and fresh, hard to find such beauties anywhere else)

One night stay to attend a Wedding. Prior to my stay I found the communication was very good and was able to book in earlier so I was able to attend the Wedding service on time and not to worry about booking in later. On arrival I found a friendly and welcoming member of staff and was very helpful. My stay was very good and the cooked breakfast was great. Thankyou

I got the big breakfast, it's a normal size one if you asked me, I ordered 1 piece of black pudding and mushrooms(note the s) I received my rather underwhelming breakfast short of the extras which I mentioned and to there credit brought me them in a few minutes, however on cutting into the mushroom a single large one but not mushrooms as advertised, I was met with what I can describe as the Victoria falls of oil, overall it's was way worse than wetberspoons and cost me about 15 with a coffee will not be returning

Booked a pizza not great zaladsdelivery to our campsite. Delivery, friendly, on time Food quality and quantity v. good Chips not greasy salads fresh. Pizza very filling
