Brilliant meal on Friday night. I had the special pork with savoy cabbage & Potato gratin . Which was amazingly present and was unbelievable delicious. My husband had a thin crust pizza which was really tasty and a good amount of toppings. The pub was busy and had great atmosphere. Highly recommend

Over many years I have been eating and drinking at this pub with friends. Many times we have had to wait up to 45 minutes for our food. Admittedly food has been acceptable. Recently, I visited with my voucher for a complimentary bottle of wine for a special occasion. There was a problem trying to send the email I received through to the pub on my arrival, so that they could validate my voucher. A young waiter took my phone from me to try and send the email through himself. He informed me that he was successful, so I received my bottle of wine. My husband also had a drink which was added to our bill. We settled up when we left, after having waited fifteen minutes for someone to take our order followed by a thirty five minute wait for our food. To my dismay, about a week later, I received a text message from someone known as Paul, informing me that the bottle of wine and my husband’s drink were not paid for, please could I phone to settle the bill!!! I tried to phone without any joy, so very politely, replied to Paul’s text explaining about the voucher and the waiter who I believed was successful in forwarding my email to the pub. I also asked him when he would be available for me to speak with him. Unfortunately, to this day, my response has been read but completely ignored, not even an apology! After all the years of my custom I will not be returning, it completely spoiled what was a very special occasion for me.

We came in for lunch recently and sat outside. The food itself was great but what let our experience down was the customer service. We had two servers and one was very attentive and friendly but the other was abrupt and unwelcoming. We felt rushed to order and also rushed to leave as they were quick to clear our table and lingered with a cloth and spray until we left. A shame considering the food was lovely, a menu we would be happy to go back and try other food and drink items with the garden having massive potential in warm summer evenings. However, the standard of customer service would make us reconsider.

The food was nice but the portions were not generous for the price. The fish and chips had about 10 chips on the plate! The person serving us was quite grumpy and kept moaning to customers that "I'm on my own" - ok, but that's not our fault!! Tell your boss not every customer, like it's our fault! There wasn't much choice on the mend and there was no caribbean food.

We came here for coffee and tea after not being for a while and we couldn't help but notice the place needed a bit of a clean. Dirty floors, dirty toilet and chipped saucers and tea pots. Feels like it needs a bit tlc..

I had my 60th Birthday celebration at the Green Man last Friday with family and friends. Mark and Becky closed the main bar for our event and provided a fantastic range of food for us. The tables were groaning with food, way more than for the 40 people I paid for and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating on the night. If you want a proper pub for a meal, drink or event, I'd recommend The Green Man to you.

A cafe but much more . An excellent menu . I had vegetable lasagna with salad and chips , my friend had scampi chips and salad . Good portions very tasty. Apple pie and custard to follow also very nice . Staff very polite and the cafe was spotless.

First visit to The Jester... Friendly welcome. Quick & efficient service. Food: Superb roast, a well presented hearty plate. Chicken stuffed with spinach, roasties, Yorkshire pudding with vegetables on the side. My partner had the Roast Pork which was equally tasty. Honey comb cheesecake didn’t touch the sides! A delight not to have to cook Sunday lunch, thank you all. We will be back 🙂

Earlier today I dropped my dog at the Groomer in Vanstone Parks Garden Centre, my car to the car wash guys then went into the cafe after a look around the garden centre. It was just after noon. I ordered an omelette with salad and crisps with a pot of tea. Paid for my order and sat outside with my plant pot which had my order number on. The waitress came out with a pot of tea, going well so far! When the waitress brought my order it was an omelette on a rather large plate! I asked where the salad was and was advised this it the breakfast menu, you don’t get anything with it then walked away. I thought I’d read the menu incorrectly until the lady who also sat outside was served an omelette with enough salad you could say it had its own garden! What a pity the service wasn’t a patch on it as when the previous owners/ managers ran the Orchard Cafe. The Groomer did a lovely job on my dog and the car valets made my car sparkle. Just been let down by the cafe’ won’t be going there again

The beauty & the beast themed afternoon tea was arranged here for my beautiful daughter & son in laws baby shower, We had private hire of the cabin I was really impressed when I walked in, It was such a lovely space which was so nice & cosy, The effort that the staff had gone to, to make it special was absolutely outstanding we couldn't have asked for more, On arrival staff were very accommodating, We had 6 children in our party the staff offered them a choice of what they would like in their sandwich which when you have children to please that was most welcome, The food was absolutely delicious, Very fresh & plenty of it. My 4 year old daughter especially loved the cake pops I think that I'll have to pop back sometime to pick some up from the takeaway counter for her as a treat. I would definitely go back again to the Sugar Boutique in the future & I 100% recommend this lovely little place, Thank you Sugar Boutique xXx

This saddens me to send this but I am so upset with the quality of the Chinese food you have served to me today Monday 20th May. Sadly this is not the first time I have had a VERY sub standard meal from you recently.The food was always delicious full of flavour but time after time it’s now it looks awful & it’s flavourless bland ! & Expensive & just not worth it. 😡 I will no longer be buying a take away from yourselves as Lee Hings in Bedwell is far superior in all areas of value flavour & how it looks
