The best restaurants in Ormesby Great Yarmouth East of England

I don't often leave reviews but noticed this place doesn't have many so had to especially after such a positive experience!! We were staying in a local Air BnB for a girls night and looked at local takeaways. This was very close so gave it a try and absolutely recommend this chinese takeaway! We had a variety of dishes and shared between all 4 of us. It was amazing food. The spring rolls say mini but aren't, they're quite big. I ordered two bags thinking they'd be tiny but I'm very glad they weren't! It was the highlight for me haha! Sweet and sour chicken was lush, the garlic chicken with pineapple I think it was called omg was divine! Noodles were lush! My friends had seafood dishes and enjoyed those a lot too. Chicken balls were big and yummy. We are already planning our next visit and having another takeaway from here! 5 out of 5, if you're staying anywhere nearby defo check it out. They even gave us free prawn crackers and a free can of drink when we collected. Our order was about £80 so I don't know if it was because of that but service was fantastic too. We ordered by phone and collected, we were slightly early and it was ready for us in heat sealed bags to keep it warm, very impressed and absolutely recommend.

We did not have food, so not fair to comment. Friendly welcoming atmosphere. Amazing live music. Good beer at a good price. Great place for a night out. I will certainly be using again.

I took a party of 15 people here last night, people came in at different times,the lovely ladies waiting on us were amazing patient fast and effective too. Praise to everyone who made our evening memorable, the chefs,the ladies waiting on our table. The food was delicious and everyone went away hspot full and had a throughly fab evening..my advise book a table here soon and enjoy thanx again xx

We recently spent a couple of days in Filby and was looking for a takeaway luckily we found this place. Wow the food was amazing genuinely the best pork balls I have eaten everything else was top drawer as well. Would highly recommend going here you won't be disappointed just a shame they don't deliver to Romford 🤣

Used to be a pub, no trace of the original atmosphere. A really quite garish interior decoration, bit like a nightclub, as was the intrusive background music. Food OK, nothing special, but small starter and rice portions, certainly not great value for the price. Staff however, very friendly and pleasant, with a good sense of humour.

Used the function room for a party 🥳 great bar service friendly staff 👌 good prices 👍

Great meals and wonderful staff will visit again well worth a visit

Lovely quaint little place, best toasted cheese scones we've ever had. Lovely staff, can be a bit of a wait but it's worth waiting for.

Really nice staff and lovely food. Very welcoming and would recommend! Dog friendly inside and outside. Would definitely come again.

There were three of us for Sunday roast, meat was dried out and vegetables over cooked. If I had gone to the loo before I sat down to eat we would have walked out the toilet was disgusting Sandra Daventry

Excellent little find whilst on holiday. Pit stop for coffee and breakfast baps. Very busy the whole time we were here obviously popular.

Amazingly fresh food , large menus. Cost effective , served with a friendly face
