Not the best fish and chips I've had but not the worst, nice portion of chips but the haddock was very thin. Price was good but not sure I would go back.

Had medium Haddock and medium chips on way back from days fishing. Absolutely fantastic. All cooked in dripping just like I remember years back.!! Only open 3 days a week for a reason- it's sells enough to make a living. That's all you need to know !!

Foods good when it’s open, twice we have driven there and it’s closed with no explanation even though on the door it’s scheduled to be open! I would call ahead if you’re travelling any distance as you could be disappointed as we were. Cash only as well.

Some great fish and chips, sat on the green outside and ate them in the glorious sunshine too!

Best F&C I've had for ages, perfectly cooked, hot and crunchy. Portion size just right, medium cod with medium chips to share. But I'm not greedy anymore 😉.

Always lovely hot chips However todays order was bit of disappointment. Ordered burger and got some sort of thin dry over fried patty over-seasoned whit tasted like maggi seasoning and very salty! The chips was lovely hot and nicely cooked, staff lovely but there could be improvement in service serving system as waiting time seems to be bit long.

Disappointed bought some fish and chips for some Ukrainians to try for the first time and they weren't great

My first time eating from here, food was nice, however the woman who served me was miserable, when I politely asked if I could have my receipt after paying contact less she made a sarcastic remark that it wasn't printed out yet. When my food was ready she held the bag out and just said "yours". Customer service skills definitely need working on.

Whilst on holiday we went here on the recommendation of friends, sadly unable to try as the batter used contains egg. My son has an egg allergy so we didn't buy from here. Posting to save others in similar situation having a wasted journey. It would be helpful to have this information online and that's why I have given the rating I have. Although we didn't taste them I must say they looked and smelt lovely.

Well this fish and chip shop is by far my favourite we come from lowestoft to this place the food is incredible our son lives in ormsby and he has a regular order we all went there a few weeks ago and sat on the green out side our little grandson ran around it was lovely thank you for the best fish and chips,

Bought plaice, cod + chips absouilty terrible chips wierd taste if you can call them chips tasted like rubber, fish not cooked properly will not won't be going there again !!

Superb! We were in Norfolk and I googled the best fish and chips near to us and this came up. So so glad it did We had the smaller boxes of mini portion sizes and it was amazing. The curry sauce was delicious and the fish was perfect. The chips tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. Sat in the sun outside the establishment eating what could be more perfect.

A great little fish and chip shop, battered sausages are great. Staff friendly and welcoming. Can get busy at peak times. Definitely recommended.

Batter is flat not crunchy. Flavour is okay. Seems a bit expensive.

Never have a very good selection. Even if you arrive early. Large portion sizes of fish very small.

Lovely food but a few rude staff. One in particular should act more professionally instead of mocking customers. We are no longer regular customers and go to Trishas in California instead. They are much nicer and no rude stuff. Food is also warm and not so greasy at Trishas.

I can't believe that I queued for 15 minutes only to be told, at the door, that they had run out of chips! It's such a shame as every time I've been the fish and chips have been excellent.

Called in whilst passing the fish and chips were the best iv had for a long time service first class they even cooked fish a little longer for us as we like it well done used to call in to this shop many year ago and the quality not change well done

Are family very fussy and not the easiest people to please , but our food from here was spot on ! Large fish was LARGE and cooked to perfection and not over powered by the batter , chips were the best we had for a long time and nothing was too greasy . Thumbs up 👍to this place , will defo be using again ! ✅

Friendly staff and great tasting fish. Mind you pay before walking out after chinwagging with the staff. Had to make a return visit to pay them.

When we stay at scratby we always come here for fish n chips always taste nice my only moan is bones in the fish but still the best in that area apart from yarmouth market chips Mmmmmmmmm

A nice local chippy. Run by obviously friendly and very nice people but when we went in it was very disorganised. There's no obvious in and out door and even during a busy Saturday dinner time everything was fried to order; this meant that everything was really fresh and very tasty but waiting times were longer than needed.

Maybe I got them on a bad night. This was the first and last time I will eat from here. Very confused with the raving reviews. Cod and chips was simply awful. Soggy and full of bones, flavourless and bland.
