Great food, lovely service. If you want a quiet or romantic evening remember to check if any parties are in as it can be a little noisy on the larger/group tables!

My wife and I visited here for a meal while on our holidays this place is outstanding from the service on the telephone when booking right through to saying goodbye very outstanding service indeed. The food is of excellent quality you can see the passion and effort that goes into each plate The staff are first rate they leave you alone don’t hassle you in any way but are there if you need anything and fully know the dishes and drinks there serving A fabulous place with the service to back it up

Went here on Saturday evening and had a lovely experience! Had to book a slightly earlier time as they were booked up but despite it being busy, this did not impact our experience. We had a few different waitresses serve us, all of who were really friendly and professional. Cocktails and food were delicious also. The only slight complaint is we felt all orders were taken very quickly which is good to an extent but did mean we were in and out within an hour but I get it was a busy night so they probably needed the table. Really nice food reasonably priced and really great service, will return.

Found this gem by chance. Had to book an early slot (5:30) as they were booked up for the rest of the evening.... took that as a good sign. Service, food/drink and atmosphere all top notch. We'll be going back soon.

Went here as part of a family group, we had an early reservation , on arrival it was already very busy (and very loud) , there were a few large groups and I think a function upstairs. The staff were very efficient and accommodating. We ordered several ‘tapas’ type dishes to start. A good choice, something for everyone. Wine choice was a bit limited main courses varied , gyros, fillet steak,sea bass, chicken. You can order veg or salad at an additional cost three of us ordered the salad but none of us got it with our main course, at least we weren’t charged , but it could have made all the difference to the main course. By the time we finished the restaurant was less noisy. Would definately eat here again if back in the area.

The food was lovely but the meal was very rushed. As soon as we finished eating, they cleared the starters away, the main came up straight away. Would have been nice to have a break in between. Wasn't overly busy, so there was no need for the rush.

Very noisy and we felt we were rushed through the meal. Food was good and they did a great job on the birthday celebration for my Daughter's 50th but not quite the relaxing meal we were expecting.

Always good but would be nice to see the Lunch Menu tweaked a bit for the Autumn. Just a suggestion not a moan?

Always a great meal with friendly service

Oh wow... and not in a good way. Decided to treat myself to a mushroom tagliatelle as this restaurant used to be good and I hadn't ordered for a long time. When it arrived I could just see cheese, like someone had melted a whole chunk of cheese on my meal. I wondered why it looked like a lasagne. Took alot of sifting through it to actually get to the mushrooms and pasta. The cheese layer (at least 25% of the meal if not more) was thrown in the bin as congealed sticky mess was not what I wanted.

Very nice restaurant for a quite dinner. Food was amazing and serve quickly. Service was brilliant too. Deffinatly will come here again

Really disappointed. Portion size was shocking. Ordered a crayfish salad as a meal for £9.50 and arrived the same size as a side salad that came with a gyro! Food was bland and chips were soggy. Meatballs were very dry and tasteless. Salad was not freshly prepared and supermarket bought. Don’t waste your money. It’s very expensive and not worth it at all!

A small candle is lit, and you are escorted to your table. Outside, there are cosy pods with seating inside, which was laid out for two people. A small WiFi speaker rests on the top so you can play your own songs. A drinks order is taken, so we choose water and some cocktails 🍸 😉 which were amazing, and the water was served in a huge sleek bottle and was refreshingly cool. A meze night was tonight's occasion, which was a set price and included lots of delicious meals that were amazing, tasty, and well presented and cooked. Plate after plate of mouthwatering dishes arrived and were eaten all up. Service was just impeccable with each server and staff member bringing their own unique sparkle. Simply a stunning evening with stunning food. We were blown away and fully reccomend.

Disappointed... Really bland food. Marinated Souvlaki in what? Water? You have to visit Greece guys.

Was very disappointed in my food. I had the gyros with hummus and falafel and roasted veg. The only roasted veg was mushy red capsicum inside the fat flat bread and the falafel was taste and texture-less. I don’t like to give a bad review to anyone trying to make a living, however as a traveler I appreciate an honest review.

As Usual great food and great service added bonus if you book a pod out Front you can bring your dog and set up your own playlist. We have eaten here a number of times this year and I can’t think for the life of me how there are negative reviews give it a try you won’t be disappointed food or price.

While on holiday in Gorleston on Sea, we visited this place for dinner one evening. We didn’t book - just walked in one evening and staff were more than happy to seat us at a table. We ordered drinks, red wine and lager while waiting for our meals. We were given complimentary bread and dipping oil and ordered a mini maze which consisted of mini pork riblets, pork loin, chicken gyros which was very tasty. We then ordered main meals of Lamb Kleftikon and Souvlaki which were delivered promptly and very hot. We wanted to order puddings as they looked delicious but we were too full to eat more. The bill came to £64.00 but made it up to £70 to include a tip which was well worth it. A lovely place with very efficient and friendly staff and we would recommend it to anyone wanting good ambience and really nice food.will certainly go back if we come to this area again in the future.

We visited the olive garden last Friday evening. The restaurant was quite busy whichmade for an interesting atmosphere as the sound travels very easily in the restaurant, making it hard to have a conversation with the people you’re with. The starters were good, we opted to share some different options. It was a bit of a wait between starters and mains. I had the olive garden tagatelli which was just ok. It wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t bad, just not a lot of flavour. I also feel like the servers are pushed to offer the vegetables for the side which I accepted however again there wasn’t really any flavour to this side accompaniment which was disappointing.

Delivery time was great, but the chicken was very dry and just looked like it had melted cheese on it, feel like it would be better as an in-house dish. Not overly tasty, would be interested to try again but as a sit in meal.

Good food. Paella soup-like but super cheesy so I loved it!

Absolute diamond of a place. The food tastes authentic and portions are worth the money. Always great service and a decent time between courses. We will be back as been a few times also will help out with special occasions such as birthdays.

Took 1 hour and 10 minutes to receive food when was advised 40-50 minutes which is disappointing. It also came upside down and leaking...

Short notice, walk in request, for a table for two at 5.30pm. Fortunately for us they could accommodate us. Great food and the staff are lovely. Definitely recommend.....

We love the early grazer at the Olive Garden.

The food quality from there is amazing always so fresh and the seasoning on the chips are fantastic!

Ordered 2 meals - only one delivered!

This was a amazing place last year but portion size has got smaller I have never had a desert so small but the price was any thing but small go back to how you used be I will not come back until you change this is the first time I have left a restaurant still hungry

Cosy place to eat. Always friendly staff and music in the background. Nothing is any trouble as I have a food allergy they are always kind and happy to accommodate me. The food is fresh and flavoursome and the atmosphere is brilliant. Don't go often enough but love it here when we do!

Very disappointed on our evening visit. Food not up to standard. Not much choice for sweet. Bright lights no atmosphere. Felt rushed. It was also cold. I remember how it used to be here and certainly gone down hill. Will not be returning!

Really lovely anniversary meal. I hadn't been for a while, but nothing changed , food is still superb.

The tzatziki was lovely but I ordered a Greek salad for £10.80 and it was more like a side salad portion.

Meal was okay but expensive. For a mediterranean restaurant, it was disappointing that there was no jug of water or basket of bread on the table. No serviettes either until we asked for some. Each person had a complimentary small piece of bread and some olive oil to dip it into but when we asked for a bit more bread we were told it would be an extra £1.50. The staff said they had to get permission from the owner to let us have a bit more bread and we found some of the staff to be unfriendly. The restaurant was noisy, not helped by noise coming out of speakers that was supposedly music but couldn't be discerned above the chatter. We asked if the noise could be turned off but it wasn't. Wouldn't go again.

We had a fantastic evening at Olive Garden on our wedding anniversary on Saturday 25th November. The service was excellent - professional and friendly with great attention to detail. Despite the restaurant being very busy we were made to feel special. The menu was what originally attracted us to book (we're not from the area) with so much choice. The food lived up to expectation, it was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed every last mouthful. I wish we lived closer to be able to dine here regularly, but we will be back when next in the area.

Had a delicious meal last night at the olive garden restaurant. We all had different dishes( lamb kleftiko sea bass , chicken gyros, chicken slovaki) They were all equally delicious. And the cheesecake was to die for!

Excellent service from start to finish, delicious food. Make sure you have a big appetite as the portions are plentiful and delicious. The Lamb Kleftikon was absolutely amazing!

We had a lovely family meal to celebrate my mother in law's 80th birthday. Staff were very attentative, very friendly and the food was very nice. Would highly recommend.

We felt really rushed through our dinner, and unsure what as the place only had a couple of tables in . We were half way through our starters and the mains came So by the time we started our mains they were cold . The waitress said that this was their policy , but she didn’t say that when we ordered . The stater was ok , the mains were very dry, tasteless and the smallest piece of feta I have ever seen . Really disappointing.

Not impressed with food or service at the particular time I visited which was 2022

Crispy chicken was far from. Very much seamed chicken was thrown in a microwave with cheese on top. Texture and loose butter from the cheese shows this! Chopped up cold potato followed by double cream (no reduction at all) hoping the cold chicken and cold potato would do a chef's job, unfortunately it didn't. Main dish wasn't worth £5.50 let alone the £15 payed. A shame. A restaurant with what I thought had a great reputation I would never visit now.

Greek modern restaurant with a large selection of options. Four of us shared four different Mezes as a starter and then a main meal. All the food was delicious and nicely presented, sensible prices all making it a very pleasant evening. Service and staff all excellent, will look forward to going again.

Absolutely incredible meal as always, and the waitress we had was absolutely wonderful, so much service with a smile and so chatty and proffesional I didnt catch her name but she had blonde hair and it was a Wednesday evening. This is 100x my fav restuarant within the area, everything is such high standard and the food is absolutely delicious! Book, book, book!!!!

Food was lovely, but very small portions! Would have expected a little more, you get half the amount when you order in comparison to when you dine in.

We are in Gorleston for a weekend break and was recommended this restaurant by a friend. Me and my partner shared 6 Meze dishes and they were simply outstanding, not a single moan. Staff are very friendly and the pod we had outside was great. All in all a fantastic visit. Could not recommend more.

Delivered quickly and delicious

Average food, but efficient service. very small Meze portions at high prices . Gordon Ramsay would be proud! For example , meatballs -2 small balls for £6. Apparently they are home made hence they're expensive. Vine leaves, two very small and thin parcels ,again £5. Glass of wine £6.50. nothing is authentic and most taste as though they are bought and reheated. An expensive night out. Deserts all at £6.50 and small portions. Picture of Lidl style baklava with a small scoop of budget ice cream attached. I appreciate that operating costs are high , but they are fleecing customers using the excuse of high costs. Nothing tasted authentic Greek. Shame, used to be so much better. However , the place was busy despite the prices, so owners must be very happy .

Not impressed with table service - inattentive waitress and waiter who popped over once . Food was ok but portion rather small. Decent Greek beer but pricey. They make a big deal of celebrating someone’s birthday as if this is kind of wild and whacky. There are definitely better places to eat in Gorleston - for example - the fabulous Fig on the sea front - better atmosphere - great food and fantastic environment

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Olive Garden. The restaurant is tastefully decorated. The food is tasty and the service is excellent. The evening could not have been improved upon. Will definitely go again and recommend it whole heartedly.

I’m not sure what’s happened to this restaurant. I order here atleast 1 or 2 times each week, but over the past few months the food is not consistent and the quality has dropped. Today I had the chicken gyros . The salad looked and tasted old. Normally it is fresh with a lovely dressing. Today I had a tiny salad that looks shop bought and drenched in dressing that made it limp and inedible. The hummus used to be the best. Tasted home made and thick with a great Greek flavour. Lately it tasted shop bought and bland. I buy the food because I knew it tasted great, but lately I get anxious as I just don’t know what will be delivered. It’s such a shame as this restaurant used to be the best, but I don’t think I will be spending my money here anymore. Sorry olive garden.

Food was good and people friendly with great service

I am afraid to say my food last night, I can only say what is disgusting. My partner starter was served up on the saucer and was burnt and subsequently removed from the Bill. My starter was supposed to be served on toasted bread. Instead, it was a slice of bread with seafood on it and sauce Poured all over it, so the bread is gone soggy and was impossible to eat. I was told by the waiter this was normal. My moussaka was not made correctly with aubergine and had very little Lamb mints in it. I was very sad because I’ve been to the restaurant many times before and the food is always been good. Mr Lucas senior a past friend of mine would never have let that Happened?

Food was fantastic. Everything was fresh and hot. Had the early menu which is brilliant value. Visited a few weeks ago, it was so good we wanted to go back.

Unsure if the usual Olive Garden high quality works via takeaway, we were so pleased we tried it. Very generous portion sizes and all food arrived piping hot. Very courteous delivery driver was tracked to the door.

This is the 2nd time recently we have been to the early bird menu 3 courses for £15.00, this time we had 3 different courses to last time each and once again excellent good portions( just about beat me and I can eat) excellent quality and superb value for money, plus it was my birthday, compared to a carvery or all you can eat buffet somewhere no comparison to this,all I can say is roll on the next we go

We went on a set menu night. Several dishes available to sample for each savoury course. Efficient attendant waiters. Good price for the amount and variety of food we had. Very enjoyable experience

Bad acoustics mean the music can't be heard, and the noise from other diners voices echoes around the room. Not the place for a romantic meal

What a let down. Spanakoipta tasted of stale fish oil. It was hard to cut through as well. My main chicken meal over "dinged" in the microwave. Hard to cut through. Hard and tough around the edges. Roasted veg ok though. No atmosphere. Couldn't hear the background music over loud voices. Won't return.

We decided to use The Olive Garden for our anniversary dinner and were not disappointed. Our dinner was delivered on time by a very friendly driver. The steak was cooked perfectly and the accompanying onions, tomatoes and mushrooms were delicious. The peppercorn sauce was also perfect. The chips were very tasty but we really didn’t need them as the steak was enough! It was the first time we had ordered a meal from the OG but after tonight’s experience it won’t be the last. Fast delivery but food was average. I ordered the chicken gyros, chicken seemed like just scraps of poor quality meat and fries were not great either. Bread was nice. I ate in the restaurant a few years ago now but remember it being delicious so was looking forward to it but felt disappointed.

Great menu very knowledgeable staff and consistently good food

Food is well suited to those needing something for everyone, including the less adventurous. Ordered a gyros which was nicely cooked, particularly the chicken which captured a bit of flavour from grilling - presumably over coals, the flatbread too. Fries were crisp and added some indulgence to the meal, however something more authentically Greek would have been a better accompaniment. Overall the main dish was a decent size, however the falafel starters were a bit measly and lacking in flavour and texture, considering the cost. Ribs and mixed grill dishes were costlier, but portions were bordering on huge, with plates stacked high. Friends were pretty much as satisfied as stuffed by the end of the meal. The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable, although maybe a bit plain and could do more to catch a Greek/Mediterranean vibe. Equally, although there is a good range of greek/Mediterranean starters, the mains veer into Italian and grill territory, and feel less adventurous. The menu too is presented pretty plainly. Although the food is nice and plentiful, there is a slightly plain effect to everything. The bar on the other hand looks well stocked, especially with spirits. It might be that it apys to spend a bit more on drinks to inject some life into everything, and possibly the Olive Garden is an ideal place to stop and line the stomach before heading out of an evening. In general it seems that it's best suited to those needing somewhere that offers some familiar creature comforts alongside some alternative dishes. Despite billing itself as a Mediterranean restaurant, that side of the menu isn't amazing, but it's likely there's something for everyone.

Fabulous food and a friendly delivery

We went to the early bird menu and it's been a few years since we were last there(pre COVID) we opted to sit outside in our own little shed type table, with the sun shining we had the 3 course for £15, we both said this was one of the best meals we have had in a long time we had completely different meals to each other, the quality, quantity, service was spot on will definitely be going again and would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere local and different

What a lovely find!! We're here in Suffolk for a few days away, visiting from Kent, just came across this fabulous restaurant by chance. Had a beautiful tasty delicious mixed meze. Well done Olive Garden, we'll remember you as the best meal we had in Suffolk 😀

Went here because of the gluten free options. Food was nice. Nice and clean and good service. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is down to the ambience. The atmosphere and decor wasn’t very Greek and not as friendly as other Greek restaurants I’ve been to. They didn’t do meze after 5pm which was a shame.

Wow what a bargain ,early dinner menu ,3 courses for £15 ,really lovely food ,good portions ,great service and staff ,lovely atmosphere ,Tuesday to Thursday only so make the most of it ,cant wait to go back .

My partner booked this to celebrate my birthday, 4 couples , we all had starters , mains and desserts , and all were excellent. My skate was sublime. The rose wine was really good . Excellent atmosphere, food, drink and service.

A chance find. We had the early grazer maze menu and loved it. So many authentic Greek flavours. Stifado med veg and Lebanese potatoes were especially good. Friendly service, nice and warm on a cold day. A real find. And it was all reasonably priced. Lucky Gorlston!!!

We loved this meal! Everything was absolutely delicious. The fish, the stifado. Best takeaway I’ve had in a long time. So good!

Been to the Olive garden before and it was delicious. Today was no different. We had their early special which was 3 courses for £15 per head. I had the hummus for starter and then the chicken gyros sandwich for main, and raspberry sorbet for dessert. All of it was quick coming out and nicely presented. It was delicious and very good for the value of it, the portions were generous and we left feeling very full up! We'll be returning, we love it here.

Went in for lunch, hence 4 🌟 for atmosphere, but can imagine it might be pretty cool in the evening. Food was exactly right and really good service. Going again as soon as possible. Reasonably priced as well for the quality we got. Even the house wine was pretty good too.
