We had a lovely meal there. I had an expertly cooked, medium rump steak. I asked for a pint of ale but it wasn't REAL ale from a cask and decanted via a beer engine. It was from a pressurised keg and served via a tap. Nice enough but I felt a little cheated. Overall experience ...... A very nice evening.

Great food reasonable prices however they didn't have plan flover milkshake as kids can be fussy would definitely recommend make sure you book to avoid rejection

The Grange Hotel no longer exists , its now a restaurant called The Smokehouse. I can't therefore rate the Grange , despite the proprietors confusion , it is no longer a business . However the smokehouse is a great place to eat .

Good food nice atmosphere. Would have 5* but for the late meal served after reminding the staff.

Fast and efficient service by friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious. Only mild criticism is portions are huge. Will definitely be back again soon

Restaurant... Have reviewed this place many times. Now known as "The Smoke House" Pre booking is advised. Busy local popular place. Serves good #meals and 2 4 1 offers. American influenced with throwback cars and film figurines and juke boxes. We loved the old advertising boards too. They also do cheap #camping too

Oh wow! We have just visited and can honestly say "we will be back". I felt so comfortable when we walked in and were made to feel so welcome. All the staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. Thank you so much. We can't wait to visit again for the 2 for 1 cocktails during the week xx

I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves bbq food. A lovely warm friendly greeting on arrival and we were seated very quickly. Waiter Connor was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

The venue is perfect, the food was superb, I just wish that 'The Grange' was still a hotel. There is a camp site adjacent to the Smoke House, but unfortunately I don't do camping😕. Mind you 🤔, I'm sure that camping would had been better than the hotel that we stayed over night in Gt Yarmouth. Do not ever stay at Fjearland hotel in Trafalgar Road. What a dirty smelly hole 😎. Read all reviews on this hotel. They are totally correct😬

Had a lovely stay vicky a ricky were very welcoming Whilst mowing the the grass our electric cable was damaged it had to be replaced The site on whole does need updating Attention to general cleaning of the site could be a little bit better dog bins emptied window sills in toilets needed a wipe down But on whole was a lovely stay

Best beer garden and live music by miles!

Simply a first class American style eatery. Always too much to eat, make space for your take home doggy bag, USDA brisket wonderful, steaks superb, ribs just brilliant….

First time back here in 3 years. Been transformed, the main bar area looks a lot better. Food very nice. Pleasant atmosphere, changed from bar area to dinner. Will be going back soon. 👍

Lovely atmosphere. Staff very polite and attentive. Not cheap, but worth every penny as the portions are huge and top quality, freshly cooked. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Loved it, stay for 1 night as girlfriends birthday bed very comfy 😉 breakfast was amazing, the girlfriend realy enjoyed the spa treatment aswell, which I earnt more brownie points.

Lovely place, lovely helpful friendly staff, and love that the park is very close to the beer garden. The last meal we had wasn't up to much unfortunately, we've had several meals there, and they have been ok, but after ordering the rack sabbath ribs dish, it was mainly all fat and grissle, and that dish alone was £19.99. would have expected much better quality of meat for the price. Having said that the veggie lasagna, was very nice and so was the children's burger meal.

Most amazing food I have had in a long time. Portions are so big 1 meal could go between 2, but thats the beauty of going here. Ribs were the best I have ever had and I have eaten them all over the world. Tender, tasty and fell off the bone. Absolutely delicious. Hubby had the chicken wings and they were just as good. Staff were friendly and efficient, surroundings abd decor were just as good. I would highly recommend this place. Lisa Hertfordshire.

Went for lunch last week. Told 2 different things you can't order drink or food here had to wait for the outside bar to open when it did was told no you can order from the other bar. Food ok won't rush back

We happened to notice this place on our way to the beach and decided to stop for lunch. I am so glad we did! The food is amazing the staff are so friendly and helpful if I didn't live an hour away I would be there every weekend and if just great food and atmosphere wasn't enough they are dog friendly! I do think a pup menu would be cool.. Hint hint.

Just had a fantastic meal here at the smokehouse bar and grill. We ordered milkshakes to start off, they were fantastic (recommend the chocolate brownie one). Our server seated us quickly and gave us a good rundown of the menu options (explaining most of the portions were above average size). The food came out promptly and was absolutely delicious, cannot fault either the food or the service! We will 100% be returning and will be recommending to our friends and family!! Thank you for a lovely dining experience🙏🏻

Hi this was the second time we had visited the smokehouse , the first 6 weeks back was amazing so we returned , i do not know what it is with restaurants you never seem to get the same quality second time around , rang to book but could not was told to walk in the bar at 2pm it was packed we were seated upstairs to be honest the waiter was lovely , the drinks waitress not so my pint was three quarters full the rest was in the tray , we ordered rack of ribs and the waiter advised us they had changed the rub so the meat came out pink he also said they had had a few complaints about this . tbh the meat was cold and tasted completely different from the first time ,when it arrived and the fries were no better the corn on the cob had no butter , the ketchup came in a thimble for a sack full of spuds silly things i know but when you pay 16quid you want a little more care with presentation sadly i had recommended to many friends hope that does not rebound on me ,

Took advantage of the government scheme, had a great meal , couldn't eat anything for 24 hours as still full !

Never visited the hotel it was the smokehouse bar grill it was nice just wish the waitress got my order right but the food was nice

Review of the Smokehouse Bar & Grill. Absolutely divine, mouth-watering food, even better considering it was all on a 2for1 deal which we didn't even know about. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and very chatty too which was nice, considering we only usually get that in places we know and frequent. I'd definitely go back if in the area.
