The best restaurants in Leighton Buzzard South Central Bedfordshire East of England

Took the parents out on Sunday and visited Anwick Garden Centre. After having a wander around the Garden Centre and purchasing a few items, we went into the cafe to have a drink and chose to dine, as it was lunch time (13:30ish). I went with the house Cheese Burger and both parents went with the Sunday Roast (on this occasion Beef). I had a can of soda (Vimto) and the parents each had a pot of tea. Food wise, the burger was well cooked and chips and salad were also good and overall it was a great portion for the price. The parents both really enjoyed the beef and the roast potatoes, the only issue being the vegetables, both would have preferred it slightly more cooked, and father would have liked a slight larger vegetable portion. Overall though, we’ll be visiting again, and I would recommend a visit if you’re in the area…

Very disappointed, after paying nearly £40 for two take away pizzas and a portion of chips we found that the base on both pizzas were tough and the contents of the vegetarian one were sparse . Not impressed and won’t be going back very soon .

I ordered a mix of nigiri and rolls from Sushi King and everything was flavorful and well-balanced. The fish and vegetables vere very fresh, especially the tuna and salmon. The rolls were packed with ingredients that were well balanced. The menu offers a good range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Service was very incredibly quick. Will be ordering from here again!

Great guest beers, ipa, porters etc.

Came here with my 2 year old son and my sister for a late dinner was absolutely lovely! The atmosphere was nice and calm and it looked lovely my son enjoyed looking at all the lights and decorations. From the second we got there they made sure we had everything we needed service was attentive and quick, food didn’t take long and was delicious, drinks were AMAZING(I had a non alcoholic version and it was delicious!) Just the perfect place to go whether with kids friends or family, Alex took care of us the entire time he was so kind caring and lovely honestly great waiter couldn’t have been better was a great night recommend it to everyone looking for some good food drink and a chill evening.

I came for breakfast. The server was accommodating and the poached eggs perfect. They seemed a bit out of their depth over the avocado, even though it's on the menu and was delivered. Very cheap and the locals I spoke to in the neighbourhood, all spoke highly of them

Excellent little cafe. All the basics and more. The local authority should put a canopy over the seating area to shade from the sun and shelter from the rain.

Just went in, ordered a couple of crispy pancake rolls started eating them on the way home got to the middle of my first one and it was frozen still cold but the time I turned around and went back the place was shut it was only 9 o’clock but it says it shuts at 9:30 I won’t be eating out of there again.

Coffee bar with inside and outside seating. Recommend the latte and coffee. Good range of soft drinks in the fridge.

Ordered takeaway for delivery on New Years Eve, but the food didn't arrive! Tried phoning several times, but no answer. Eventually got in contact with them 2.5 hours later & they had the cheek to say your food is ready, we will deliver it now. I said it's too late, I want a refund. I was told I had to go the restaurant with my bank card for my refund. I refused to do this & they eventually agreed to refund me over the phone. Absolutely shocking & will never be ordering from them again!!!

My husband and I visited Thai Chef tonight for dinner. The food was wonderful, staff were very attentive and so so welcoming and the service was very good. The only slight negative is it's quite noisy, purely because it's very popular. We 100% recommend and we will definitely be returning.

Friendly staff and atmosphere, good service but could do with a little refurbishment. Overall, it was a nice friendly pub for a drink

We were visiting the area and looked for somewhere for Sunday lunch. The website said they do Sunday lunch, so we booked it here. When we arrived we were shown to our table (Right in front of a tv screen, lots of tv screens in the pub so great if you want to watch football but not so great if you don't) The menu didn't show Sunday lunch so I asked for the Sunday lunch menu and was told they don't do Sunday lunch. I was told they know that the website says they do, but they don't. There was hardly anyone else in when we were there at 1pm, so it doesn't seem to be a very popular place. I tried to book at other places but by then they were all fully booked. We ended up buying a cooked chicken and doing our own.

It's not an italian deli, it's just a store.
