The best restaurants in Leighton Buzzard South Central Bedfordshire East of England

Took the parents out on Sunday and visited Anwick Garden Centre. After having a wander around the Garden Centre and purchasing a few items, we went into the cafe to have a drink and chose to dine, as it was lunch time (13:30ish). I went with the house Cheese Burger and both parents went with the Sunday Roast (on this occasion Beef). I had a can of soda (Vimto) and the parents each had a pot of tea. Food wise, the burger was well cooked and chips and salad were also good and overall it was a great portion for the price. The parents both really enjoyed the beef and the roast potatoes, the only issue being the vegetables, both would have preferred it slightly more cooked, and father would have liked a slight larger vegetable portion. Overall though, we’ll be visiting again, and I would recommend a visit if you’re in the area…

This is the second time that we have visited Amore Pizza in the last month. I must say, as a chef who spent 3 years in Sardinia these pizzas are the nearest that I have tasted in Leighton Buzzard to the authentic thing. Great service, you feel as if you are in someone's front room with a warm pizza oven in the background. The house red wine is typically Italian and goes well with the pizzas. Ok, we were even given a takeaway Tiramasu and Vanilla cheesecake on the house, these were also amazing. If you haven't tried Amore, give it a go, I promise you won't be disappointed. Wow, what an epic take away. We had the family deal, there was loads of sushi and everything tasted amazing. 5 stars. Will definitely have king sushi again!

Great place to eat out, nice food and good atmosphere too.

We went for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Our breakfast cost £14 which included a drink. The hot chocolate was delicious and food was lovely with great variety. Only thing we would say, the breakfast would benefit from some maple syrup/butter for the waffle in particular. The man that served us was lovely. Thank you.

Excellent little cafe. All the basics and more. The local authority should put a canopy over the seating area to shade from the sun and shelter from the rain.

Just went in, ordered a couple of crispy pancake rolls started eating them on the way home got to the middle of my first one and it was frozen still cold but the time I turned around and went back the place was shut it was only 9 o’clock but it says it shuts at 9:30 I won’t be eating out of there again.

Coffee bar with inside and outside seating. Recommend the latte and coffee. Good range of soft drinks in the fridge.

The food is really good! and they have a wide variation of vegetarian options. Highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I visited Thai Chef tonight for dinner. The food was wonderful, staff were very attentive and so so welcoming and the service was very good. The only slight negative is it's quite noisy, purely because it's very popular. We 100% recommend and we will definitely be returning.

Waited quite a while for the food ,when arrived it was cold,they even said sorry for the delay,obviously had been left standing...assumed we would get a fresh meal,however original food returned to us apparently heated up,still luke warn,waitress even joked hopefully I have given you the right ones back...my friend left hers & I tried to eat mine...we complained but all they could say was sorry. Really disappointed, won't be going there again !!!
