Wow, what an epic take away. We had the family deal, there was loads of sushi and everything tasted amazing. 5 stars. Will definitely have king sushi again!

First of all, the £10 lunch discount with drinks is a great value. Secondly, if you order fried chicken, you will get 2 extra fried dumplings. The takeaway 🥡 is exquisitely packaged, the rice is well cooked, the fried chicken and dumplings are hot and spicy enough to be crispy and delicious 😋, and the curry sauce is very good It tastes "Japanese style. I think it was made by the Japanese themselves. For this price, I would give it a perfect score💯" "Even if it's only £18, I'd give it a thumbs up💯"

Food always tastes great and is presented very well. The packaging of the food looks great and it’s very tidy exactly what you would expect from Japanese Japanese cuisine.

Salted edamame wasn’t salty at all, chicken Karaage was very dry but rest of the sushi(spicy random and rocket roll) was amazing as always.

Tried King Sushi twice now, both times late on a Saturday night. First thing that struck me (and was true on both occasions) was how clean and organised the kitchen was as you look in from the serving window. Having tried 3 different Teriyaki dishes and a sushi, all are healthy portions full of flavour at very reasonable prices; certainly value for money. Look forward to trying more from the menu. A credit to Leighton Buzzard and its lacking food scene.

We have mixed feelings about King Sushi. Overall, it should be really great to have local take-away sushi in our town. However, we have had several poor experiences with them. It's a bit pricey, sometimes the quality is lacking, AND THEYRE USING MSG! Plus on our latest and last order, they took a whopping 2 HOURS! to deliver with no comment, explaination or apology. Just, "we're busy tonight". We will never order again. It's a shame because we really wanted to like this place!

Fantastic! First time ordering sushi for takeaway and it’s delicious. The tempura chicken katsu roll was heaven, and the sticky tonkatsu sauce goes so well with it. Will definitely order again!

Most of the order was missing! Driver said he only had one bag, called the restaurant and they said to ask for a refund but after waiting for 45 mins we asked for the items to be replaced. We never got to have much for dinner and they were unable to deliver our missing meals!!

One of our favourite takeaway spots in Leighton Buzzard for healthy food! It’s a shame they don’t have a sit-down area as it would’ve been a great spot to meet friends and enjoy food/drinks.

It's takeaway only, located inside an industrial estate. So don't expect a place to have a sit-down meal. Food is tasty, good portion sizes and quite value for money. Service is polite. Most of their orders are delivery

What has happened to this place. When it first opened, we spent money with them often. Food was top-notch. Now it's half-heartedly wrapped. Spicy rainbow sushi has no spice to it, just mayo on top. They used to be so well prepared and crispy onions on top ... none, gone, thinner layer of rice too. Rice unprepared, not like sushi rice should be, just tasted like plain boiled rice. We avoided this place for a while and thought we would give it one more try, but nope. Something has changed and not for the better. It's not the same anymore.

For the price, I was expecting excellent quality. Flavour was good but beef was very tough to chew and prawn tempura was too small.

The sushi is "chewy" and Is always warm when I order it, the seaweed is like rubbery plastic. I've ordered a couple times hoping it was a one off but unfortunately I won't be ordering again.

Appalling experience. Ordered ~£75 worth of food which still added a delivery fee to our order at 6pm, quoted a 2 hour delivery time. Come 8pm no food delivered, I call the restaurant multiple times with no answer. Online chat can't help, advises us to contact restaurant ourselves today or tomorrow and request a refund. Unbelievably the food arrives at 10.30pm with zero contact or updates. Spoke to a manager who was outraged we are upset at receiving food 2 and a half hours late with no contact and wanting a refund and how could we not be able to understand they were busy so a 4 and a half hour delivery time should be acceptable apparently. No attempt at an apology of any kind. If you want a reliable delivery service and to deal with reasonable human beings I could not recommend this restaurant and for sure have no interest using them again.

The food was cold and felt rushed. Poor quality of food. Salmon Terriyaki was small and the gyozas were cold.

Popped in for a quick lunch today and got the prawn tempura. Was expecting the normal fried prawns but this was much better! The fried prawns inside their own sushi roll! Very filling lovely flavours will definitely visit again.

I’ve wanted to try restaurant sushi for a long while and I finally tried it and it was absolutely delicious. The sashimi was perfect texture and soft. The temaki and special rolls were lovely. I will definitely order again.

I've ordered from King sushi a few times now. On one occasion the tuna tasted funny all though other times its been okay. The katsu Is good but not up the same standard as other ones ive had being a big katsu lover. Prawn tempura is 10/10. It's lovely there but far to pricey, we only ordered a few sides, no drinks and the total was still pushing past £50... But still a sushi place is needed in leighton buzzard so overall I am satisfied :)

We've had a delivery and collected from King sushi a couple of times and I have never been disappointed. Usually fairly busy on Fridays so best to book early. So good to have a sushi takeaway in Leighton buzzard, makes a great change from the usual.

Really yummy food! I gave tried some vegetarian sushi, tofu katsu, vegstable gyoza, my husband and son have had the chicken katsu all of which are really tasty!

Absolutely loved our first meal from here. Everything was great. We ordered two types of sushi, a chicken katsu curry and rice, a duck ramen soup, and some chocolate and strawberry mochi. Thoroughly recommended, and a great change from other kinds of takeaway.

First orders usually taste great but second orders tend to fall short of the first experience. My first order was the party platter on a Saturday night and was ready within 30 minutes. It's a new business evolving trying to survive during lockdown. Hopefully, future experiences would achieve a genuine 5* review.

Found this place after a google search of nearest sushi place. Lucky as they’d only been open a week! In a unit on an industrial estate You wouldn’t stumble across them. Rang through order for collection at 4pm and collected at 5pm. They do deliver. Prawn gyoza were absolutely delicious- we ate them in the car whilst they were still warm! Tried selection of California rolls, ura-maki,futomaki, and temaki along with a stupendous dragon roll. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Will definitely be going back. No paper menu to take home yet and no website but apparently they are coming.
