First time I have been in here for about 20 years. Friendly door staff, not overly helpful bar staff, not all of them but the one I spoke with because I couldn't read some of the bottle fridge drinks and she was very short, borderline rude, when answering questions. The decor does not appear to have been updated in decades. Still, drinks are relatively cheap and with a large outside seating area/car park it made for a pleasant couple of hours. I'm not sure if you can blame the clientele on the management...

Friendly little pub. Very relaxed.

I visited 2 weeks ago after an appointment for my back. I went to Morrisons and had a terrible lunch. I had to wait for my bus back to Luton and found The Sun Pub. The service was amazing and the regulars made me feel so welcome. The prices were amazing and the service was even better. I would definitely recommend coming here! It's a pub where you could just be yourself and watch day turn to night. Thank you so very much for the wonderful hospitality..xx

Still the best pub in town for value, punters and entertainment

Nice old school pub. Cheery landlady and staff. All correct restrictions in place and adhered to. Drinks served to tables. Did not have any over long waits. Plenty of outside seating too. All the staff, plus the locals, are really friendly and welcoming. If you are a lady on your own then you will feel comfortable drinking here.

Spotted this pub on my way to meet up with my brother and found it and the landlady very pleasant, dog friendly too so that's an added bonus.

£3.70 for 2 pints of bitter ,a 6 piece band on for 2.5 hours and a disco in between breaks Fantastic value .

Drink prices very reasonable, Barmaid Tash & Aimee very pleasant & remember the round! Clean and the music was not so loud that you had to shout. Nice atmosphere

Bit of a locals pub, but whenever I've been in there (as a non-regular) they have always been really friendly and accommodating. Darts, pool and open till late. What's not to like?

A lovely pub with great staff. Quiet but friendly atmosphere during week daytimes. Weekend evenings lively and full of fun. 3 Dart teams and 2 Pool teams playing on Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday and a Great and original "Battle of the Sexes" Quiz Night on Thursdays. Bank Holidays not to be missed with live music and BBQs.
