Cafe in the Park in Central Bedfordshire

Excellent little cafe. All the basics and more. The local authority should put a canopy over the seating area to shade from the sun and shelter from the rain.

Handy for drinks and snacks when visiting a well maintained park with skate park, bandstand, playground and sports pitch. Handy for town.

The fact that this cafe had stayed open late during the Proms Concert in the park on 11th September 2021 was very welcome. The takeaway hot drinks during the interval were a highlight on what was a cool September night. Great value drinks and a good selection of warm savories as well as crisps, sweets, cold drinks etc. Staff friendly and contactless payment available. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

The cake was superb and had many flavours on offer. The roast veg panini was particularly good and a good atmosphere on the whole.

Good home made food, reasonably priced and very friendly and efficient staff. This popular cafe is situated in the centre of the park , which has lots of facilities for children and adults and is quickly becoming the heart of the community.
