The best restaurants in Kempston Central and East Bedford East of England

This cocktail bar is located in a modern development underneath the Premier Inn. It has a small pleasantly decorated interior with friendly staff. We enjoyed a bottle of prosecco at a reasonable price. Things took a strange turn when we came to leave. It is not permitted to leave by the front door. We were guided to the rear of the building where we had to leave through a fire exit into a dark alleyway at the back of the building.

Best kept secret.Amazing polish food at great prices at the pantry. Staff are so helpful and if you want a real taste of great polish food this is the place for you.

very nice food but today m disappointed with packaging of chapatis today these should have been packed in foil paper or something else that could keep it warm you gys put it in plastic bag that makes it sweaty

After 23 years of being loyal and frequent customers ... we are done! On two previous visits we encountered roaches, advised management and accepted their apologies and gracious offers to encourage our return. We took a few months break before trying again because we really wanted to continue our patronage. Well, last Saturday our meal was once again (3rd time) ruined by roaches in very plain sight. However, the new manager wasn't apologetic, caring or seemingly interested in securing future business, which our wonderful waiter indicated would be her response. If roaches are crawling out from under pictures, scurrying across tables and running across the floor ... can you imagine what's happening in the kitchen? Hey, I get it, it's Texas - we have bugs. But multiple encounters, plus the lack of concern is a huge red flag. Time for some serious pest control and customer service skills. We've seen enough ... Bye, Bye!

Manager is always sat outside smoking, had all her family their yesterday, its quite an intimidating feeling walking in to order a drink whilst they are all sat outside. No urgency to get up to serve customers. This Costa has really gone down hill and its quite dirty with all the bin rubbish exposed in the kitchen area. Hi turn over of staff as well, speak volumes in my humble opinion.

As a family we have used Kempston Kebab for years now and have never been disappointed. The quality of the food is normally excellent and staff great. I don’t know what happened today but I can honestly say we will never use them again. I ordered a doner kebab with extra salad and a portion of chips extra salt and vinegar through their website. Unfortunately my kebab was smothered in chili sauce I tried to remove the top bits of meat and eat from the bottom only to discover the meat was burnt black and rock hard. I’m thinking ok just a bad day today I’ll just eat my chips, open the box to discover a huge dollop of chilli sauce right in the middle of the portion. I don’t really complain about much but I was pretty annoyed by now. I phoned them to request another meal I was told I requested chilli sauce check my receipt funnily enough I didn’t have a receipt wasn’t given one by the delivery driver. I don’t like chilli sauce so it’s not something I would have asked for but they argued this fact practically calling me a liar. What about the burnt black and hard meat I ask I’m trying to stay friendly and I hear them having a discussion about me as if I’m not able to hear. It was really unpleasant and totally unnecessary. I’m trying to figure out why they can’t just say no problem of course we will send you another meal. You are a good customer and have been for years. Instead I heard one of them bark tell her we will replace kebab not chips and we want the original kebab back!!!! Wow really well ok then. What would it cost just to have been polite. My new kebab arrives in minutes. Tiny bit of salad and I kid you not burnt hard meat and then I find a hair. How sad is that. This must be a joke. If I had been treated in a polite courteous manner I probably wouldn’t have bothered with this review but the terrible food and such poor service together just did it for me today. All I wanted was what I had payed for nothing more and now they have lost 3 families custom. What a shame!!!

Ordered for the first time for delivery. Person I spoke to on the phone was very accommodating in slightly changing my order. The food was hot and tasty, not swimming in oil as other dishes from other places I have ordered from. The Saag Paneer with proper paneer not English cheese. Was also good value for money and arrived in good time. Will be ordering again.

Absolutely loved the pizzas! So customisable, very fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!
