Visit here frequently as we live locally. Always a friendly welcome. Delicious home made food and cakes. Very accommodating with all their customers. Highly recommend.

What a lovely little place, neat and clean, staff were lovely. The best bit was a slice of awesome cake and a cup of coffee. Definitely worth a visit and cake not to be missed

I have tried a lot of Chinese takeaways & this has to be one of the best. Very flavoursome & tasty. Fantastic food, everything we had ordered was just gorgeous

Came across this lovely, friendly tearoom/cafe which is located in the pretty village of Boxford and was so impressed, I visited twice in four days. My first visit was for tea and homemade cake and the second for breakfast when I had smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast which was the best I’ve ever had. I noticed that they have a lot of local trade and seemed to be a popular meeting place for locals which is always a good sign. The lady who runs/owns the business is very friendly and extremely efficient, I will certainly be going back next time I am in the area.

I wanted to introduce my daughter in law's parents to Chloe's. They have just moved to Ipswich but came to see me today in Brantham. We just wanted a quick lunch after a chilly shopping morning. Us 2 ladies had a lovely home made fish pie, there were plenty of prawns and a lot of other fish in a very tasty sauce. It was served with roasted diced potatoes, a nicely browned potatoes on top and fresh vegetables. The individual dish with a nicely browned mash potatoes on top. It was served in a very hot individual oval dish, which was presented piping hot which always pleases me. Our vegetarian friend had a tuna and sweet corn panini, salad chips and home made coleslaw. We happened upon this lovely cafe by accident, and what a happy accident it was! The food here is incredible! Between us we had a cheese toastie (me - which was amazing!) and a bacon and fried egg roll (which I have been told was also amazing!). I was also eyeing up other food going past and at the counter, and I think we’ve already planned what we’re eating on our next 5 visits! The staff were super friendly too, and the vintage decor is fab.

We are in town on a business trip and have eaten at different locations each evening. Fox and Hounds was by far our favourite. We had a bit of wait as there was a larger party that came in ahead of us. But we were seated in a private room and had the place to ourselves for most of our meal. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and couldn't have asked for better service. Katie and Jenny were both incredible. Jenny is the absolute sweetest and Katie was a delight to chat with. We even got a hug. You don't get many places that are that friendly anymore. We were literally welcomed with open arms. I would absolutely move here in a heartbeat based entirely on this evening's experience. And the town is incredibly gorgeous as well. We can't wait to visit again. Thank you both for a great dinner.

I Luuurve these sandwiches. Me and my husband go every Friday which we call "Fergusons Friday" 😀😃😆 the food is just deliish, beautiful quality, the staff are lovely. The new store looks fab 👍If you want a picnic or a day at the beach, call this place up and order some sarnies for lunch 😉😉 they will keep you full and satisfied. PS. The flapjacks are lush as well- our dog loves them lol

We have recently had our wedding meal within the Rose and Crown and our evening buffet provided by at The Rose and Crown Elmsett and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and never made us feel that we where asking for too much. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and a great variety to please all our guests. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere of the pub made our special day even more memorable. If you’re ever looking for somewhere for a special occasion or just a good meal in a welcoming spot, I highly recommend The Rose and Crown Elmsett. Thanks again to the whole team for making our wedding day even more amazing!

Very friendly clients and good quality beer. I was looking for a friendly chatty atmosphere where me and the wife could chill and this was perfect.

According to the website the cafe is open. On arrival we found it closed. On ringing we were advised it is only open at Week-Ends or if one makes an appointment to view artwork. Admittedly we could have phoned ahead but equally… the proprietor could post accurate details!
