Joe's in Babergh

According to the website the cafe is open. On arrival we found it closed. On ringing we were advised it is only open at Week-Ends or if one makes an appointment to view artwork. Admittedly we could have phoned ahead but equally… the proprietor could post accurate details!

I haven't visited the coffee shop myself yet but I indefinitely will now. I was gifted a Mother's Day treat box which had four different gorgeous cakes inside - I need to try more - delicious 😋

Great beer, friendly locals, very welcoming. Food is all home cooked and very fairly priced.

A couple of weeks ago I had a tasty lunch. I had the Jet lounge croissant royal which they kindly served on toast instead of the croissant. 9/10 (would have been 10/10 if the plate had been hot!) I also had a fruit scone but found it a bit too sweet which was a shame. Over all it was a good lunch.

A very warm welcome on a coffee morning. Delicious homemade cakes and lots of good chat. Thank you ladies.
