I visit here very frequently & they serve the best coffee by far & always very hot! Their food is always delicious & the cheese scones are amazing. All the staff are extremely friendly & welcoming & I can bring my dog along to so win win!

My first time here. And the same with the friend I went with. The food was absolutely exquisite. I had a chicken pasta with rocket and smoked cheese sauce. Intense and faultless. My buddy had a great toasted chicken sandwich and we shared a bowl of incredibly tasty specialist chips. The best dining experience we both have had for a considerable time including those at significantly higher price point. Will we go back? What do you think? In a heartbeat. Thanks JL.

In Hadleigh for first time, attracted into this cafe by the sign board outside. I was looking for something quiet and restful with decet coffee, and possibly outside seating. Seating was taken outside, but the inside was very nice, restful, no music (which I really detest) and a nice clean bathroom. Coffee was served in a generous mug (I was very impressed). The scones were nice, and seemed fresh and didn't leave a bicarb taste in my mouth. Not over priced. Would go again.

Not great and we’ve been coming for years . Whilst the staff were lovely the food quality has sadly fallen . I had a brunch sandwich which was soaking in butter whilst the bacon was fatty and the sausage dry . We won’t be returning . What a shame

When doing my research for a break in Hadleigh, I noticed this venue...and so we went along for a light lunch.....so glad we did! It is a bit quirky in its theme and menu layout, but don't be put off. The food is very good....we had specials such as asparagus in bacon with propoer poached eggs, or pear and goats cheese salad....both hit the spot. very good welcome, and prompt service.....and speaking to locals over the next few days, many recommended this place

Popped in for a quick coffee and was fortunate to have a free table, normally it's busy. Ordered a latte, which was piping hot and came in a glass mug, so much better than those tall, wobbly latte cups that always seems to appear! Sadly for my waistline I was tempted by the biscoff sponge cake, it was delicious, as I'm sure the others on offer would have been. Good to see the outdoor seating, great as an option in the better weather. Everywhere looked spotless, fresh flowers on the tables too, a nice touch. Prices are in line with most other establishments. Well worth a visit.

Bit of a mixed bag experience… my partner had the full English breakfast (large @ £13.45) which was very tasty and good value. I opted for the creamy garlic mushrooms on an open ciabatta roll (£10.95)… but… what I was served was on one half of a round roll, making it the equivalent of a starter course size portion. So at that price I considered it quite expensive. It was ‘ok’ flavour-wise but both that and my hot chocolate were served luke warm. I probably won’t rush back as I was left feeling somewhat disappointed.

Good place for casual brunch, lunch etc. Reasonable gluten free options too ( they can provide gf bread/ panini replacements), although check what they actually serve you, as mistakes get made. Handy for town centre.

First visit since new ownership. Very disappointed. Beetroot burger was just a claggie mush, stir fry was drenched in sauce making it sloppy not crispy, pasta was only warm with sauce very runny. Desert to be fair was very good. Unlikely to go again

Just the best place to eat in Hadleigh. Superb food cooked and served by great people. Lovely menu, with different specials. Great salads and buddha bowls and just the best scones and cakes. Oh..and the fishcakes...mmmm

First visit to Jet Lounge with family for afternoon tea. Daniel and his staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Generous amount of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Ideal cafe for folk with mobility issues as there is free parking right outside the door.

Bread was dry, there was no spinach, very little avocado. Avoid this dish. Service and ambience was fine but food was awful.

Went for afternoon tea, sandwiches were OK, scones wonderful, but the small cakes looked like something from the freezer section at tesco. They didn't really have any flavour, which was very disappointing as they looked lovely. The red velvet and cup cake were very nice. The staff were great, very nice, polite, and attentive without being intrusive. We've had coffee and cake here before, and it was always wonderful. I'm just a little disappointed with the afternoon tea.

Was concerned after looking at recent poor reviews. Took notice of personal recommendation & gave it a try for lunch. Both of us enjoyed our meals & the staff were pleasant & helpful. Happy to recommend.

You get what you pay for. In all the years visiting Hadleigh we have found a GEM that allows pets in to the air conditioned restaurant. Food excellent, Cleanliness excellent, Service excellent, Surroundings excellent, Seating clean and comfortable.

Sorry Jet Lounge, Staff were excellent but the food was poor; sloppy quiche, no flavour, again I had a 'posh' Welsh rarebit, same , no taste. As it is, the food on this occasion does not by a long way warrant the prices charged - way off! I wouldn’t want to risk it again. Regards MB

We have visited Jet Lounge several times recently, and having thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere, decided to treat ourselves to brunch there on Sunday. We arrived, and were seated, the cafe was not especially busy. We ordered a Berry Smoothie, an Elderflower drink, the New York Breakfast (eggs Benedict with crispy back bacon) and the Mediterranean Breakfast (sourdough toast with mushrooms, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, goats cheese, and a poached egg). Twenty minutes after placing our order, we were feeling rather thirsty, so were pleased to see the waitress approach, sadly, still no drinks, she was coming to let us know that the smoothie was not available, and to ask if we would like an alternate - an alternate smoothie was ordered. Twenty five minutes from ordering we received our drinks. The waitress took our breakfast to the wrong table, unfortunately, rather than point out that the food delivered was not what they had requested, the family to whom it was delivered accepted it and immediately tucked into it. Noticing her mistake the waitress approached, to let them know of the error, too late for our breakfast, but apparently a happy mistake, they were quite content to keep the incorrect order. We were told of the error, and asked if we’d like a complimentary drink whilst we waited for replacement food to be prepared. We decided forty minutes in we may as well persevere (big mistake) so ordered a latte and another elderflower drink. The waitress returned to advise that the elderflower was no longer available, I declined a replacement, the comedy of errors was becoming more than a little irritating. Finally, food arrived, now, having been subjected to pretty shoddy service thus far, I’d expected the food to make up for the ordeal - but it seems chef had also had enough. The poached egg on the Mediterranean breakfast was mangled, looked as though it had broken when placed in the pan, and as a result it was overcooked, and unattractive, if I’d made it at home I’d have slung it and started again, if I was cooking for customers who’d already been let down by service, I certainly wouldn’t have put it on the plate. There were two pieces of sun dried tomato, and a few crumbs of goats cheese - so at £10 my mushrooms on toast were pretty pricey. The New York breakfast was not a great deal better, when we’d eaten here previously this consisted of crispy bacon, two hens eggs, and hollandaise sauce. The bacon (my husband is really fussy, does not like fatty or undercooked bacon, and rarely orders it out, based on happy past experience he did), was fatty, and not crisped up, two eggs have been reduced to one, so another disappointment, and a pretty pricey one at that. Nobody came to check if the food was ok, the waitresses were conspicuous by their absence (I’d have hidden if I’d just served the mess that was the Mediterranean breakfast). We ate what was ok, left the mangled egg, and the fatty bacon, and got ready to pay and leave. Unfortunately the twit that stole our breakfast was at the till, and unable to recall what his PIN number was, so we couldn’t even make a hasty retreat. The waitress apologised to him for delivering the wrong food, he was very gracious, as apparently what he’d received was most delicious! When he was finally able to pay the bill, my husband pointed out that the egg was poorly cooked, the waitress was sorry about that, but still issued a bill for £28 - so an hour and a half later, £28 poorer, and feeling badly treated, ripped off, and very grumpy, we left, relaxing Sunday morning ruined. Thanks for that Jet Lounge. Everybody has a bad day, we visit fairly frequently because the food and service is generally very good, but if you make a giant mess of things, at least try to put them right - you shouldn’t have charged for the dreadful Mediterranean breakfast, it would have been better to say, we’ve messed up and chef can’t be bothered to remake your food, please pay for your drinks and leave - a free latte really didn’t compensate for a Sunday morning ruined. We won’t be hurrying back.

Recommended spot for lunch… lovely little courtyard or comfy interesting inside spots to sit, we enjoyed a relaxed, very tasty, good portion sized meals. My partner had the British Burger which came with big wedges, coleslaw (he said was really lovely) & salad. I had the bagel with smoked salmon & cream cheese.. it was piled high and really fresh/lovely! The whole menu was yummy and we struggled with what to choose, defo something for everyone to eat & enjoy!! The interior is all airways and as an ex BA member myself, was fun to read up and see their memorabilia. Their cake selection was very very naughty …. And yum! I also enjoyed a tropical Cocktail which in 27degrees was FAB! Not sure why this place isn’t packed out for Sunday brunch… what a spot! On a busier high street I’d say we’d be queuing out the door for this place!!!

We had planned to attend the Coronation party at the Deanery gardens, but ending up with 3 dogs in tow, we had to amend that plan at the very last minute. Big thank you to staff at Jet Lounge, who found us a corner table where the dogs could be out of the way and settle after their walk. Food was lovely and lots of choice. Neighbouring table chatted with us about the dogs. The Schnauzer ( not my dog: daughter’s!) got a bit overexcited and barked when another gorgeous Schnauzer popped in for a coffee, so apologies for that. Nice to feel welcome and well fed. We will actually plan our next visit, but this time you definitely saved the day

The Jet Lounge kindly hosted by husbands 50th birthday surprise as a private function. They were incredibly helpful, wrote a bespoke menu to suit our needs and were wonderful with all the organising. They could not have been more accommodating and friendly. A great night was had by all. This is the second time my family have held a private evening function there over the past few years and I would definitely do it again.

The best full English breakfast we've found in the area and great coffees, good quality produce and extremely well cooked. Very comfortable and relaxed setting, the staff are lovely too. Looking forward to coming back 😀

Went for breakfast on Sunday - called in a couple of weeks back and it was packed so thought we had better book this time. Very comfortable seating. Very clean and well presented Two mochas in - which were first class and then ordered breakfast - probably the best hollandaise sauce ever with the New Yorker Bagel Mochas were that good we even had a second and even stayed for a slice of cake Very relaxing and all exceptionally good value everything was just over £40 which by comparison to other places was exemplary

Had their version of eggs benedict which was presented very well and enough to fill you up. If you don't go to eat do go just for the hot chocolates and mochas

Good choice, for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or just to stop by for a coffee and natter. We liked the attention to detail and clearly good produce used. My English breakfast had the lot, and I included taast. The Eggs Benedict was also cooked to perfection. Good tea and coffee complemented the morning meal which set us up for our day of exploring.

We had an excellent evening at the Jet Lounge for their themed Caribbean night. The staff were so polite and friendly and really looked after us. The food was superb and excellently cooked and presented. A grand night with a lovely atmosphere.

Went for lunch - a first time visit. Four of us and each had a different dish. A nice varied menu and we all enjoyed our choices. So much so that I must return to try their Thai Fish Cakes.

The Jet Lounge is a great little eatery towards one end of the beautiful Hadleigh High Street. As you may have guessed, there is an air travel theme to this restaurant which matches surprisingly well with the charming period building it occupies. This is because the renovations are tastefully done and care has been taken to ensure the original features of the lovely timbered interior are protected, preserved and presented well to make a good marriage of the old and new. The menu is contemporary and continues the aeronautical theme. The food is equally well thought out and of a good standard. You are served with the type of friendly courtesy and care you would receive on a quality airline. We enjoyed tasty fishcakes meal and a baked Camembert followed by tea and a selection of the fresh pastries available. Wonderful free paring in Hadleigh helps access and sometimes there is the space in the street you can park. We were lucky and walked in on a Saturday to sit at a window table. However, the dining area is of a cosy size so sometimes it can be fully occupied,, therefore booking first will avoid disappointment. I believe the kitchen closes before before the premises do so plan to eat by mid-afternoon. I'm looking forward to visiting there in the Autumn and Winter to see what the 'vibe' is like. I'm betting it will be great!
