This has quickly become our favourite place to go - Burton Latimer’s hidden gem. There’s always a warm welcome and great service, and the food is always amazing. Prices are great too.
The highlight of last nights visit was the brand new menu. It’s been completely revamped, with loads of new options to choose from, including a whole page of Kerala dishes.
100% recommend.
Situated in the older part of Rushden, however don't let this deter you. We've visited twice, once for breakfast and once for lunch. All meals were delicious, presented well and delivered in a timely fashion. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We will be returning. It's reasonably priced and we cannot fault the food.
Lovely small cafe. Lots of students in so a good atmosphere. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food very good value. The focaccia wasn’t as enormous as some places, so just right for lunch with great choices of fillings. Didn’t try the cakes, but very tempted as they all looked delicious.

Yet another terrific evening in the Troff with food provided by White Elephant, drinks in the garden to start then inside for a very relaxing dinner, no rushing here you just need to sit back and enjoy.
We came here just before setting out on a walk around Youlgreave. We ordered two coffees, paid, receieved the drinks, and then made our way to the patio/seating area at the rear.
After finding a nice table towards the back, a member of staff appeared abruptly and called us out, stating loudly in front of other patrons that we had 'only purchased' takeaway coffees, and that to sit within the patio area was on a completely different 'system' and pricing schedule that we hadn't paid for, and that we had to leave the premises immediately. This was not communicated nor made evident that such a system was in place when we ordered. The angry attitude of the staff member, and the immediate escalation seemingly out of nowhere surprised me and took me aback as I'm a gentle natured person, and I would also never intend to steal. We were made to feel like criminals, subject to humiliation in front of other people. Therefore, we complied with the lady's instructions and left.
Bearing the above in mind; we had paid £7+ for the coffees. Is this not enough to warrant consumption on a metal patio table and chair outside, not harming anybody? And if not, could it not have been communicated upfront or in a nicer way?
I am a Derbyshire lad and would advise anyone visiting Youlgreave not to buy anything from here and to go to one of the other cafe's in Youlgreave if you are wanting coffee, tea, sandwiches, or a meal. There are plenty that aren't aggressive like this and that would appreciate the business.
Next time I will make my own coffee and will never spend hard earned money at this business again.
As grandparents we were here with 2 small children, Staff were very friendly, the food excellent & good value too. Everything was exceptional. Recommended!
The Fab in FabRico is true. Cappuccino so much nicer than large chain coffee shops. Fab decor, cakes looked fab and a fantastic little room for a quiet chat at the rear of cafe.
First visit here but definitely would not return. The breakfast was over cooked, luke warm and poor quality sausages with the over easy egg cremated and uneditable.
No thank you or goodbye as we were leaving. I did give my feedback to staff who said he’d pass it on to the kitchen.
This is an amazing cob shop family run love the food love the atmosphere and love the coffees come everyday for breakfast or dinner
Hand made cheese cakes and pastas
Custom tea box’s
Nice sit in area
Used to go here a few times when I was a tad younger; not far to walk if nearby. Used to be full of customers back in the day, 2015 were the days (summer months.)
Probably one of the best breakfast's I have eaten,
I am now a regular, Especially after a big night..!!
Amazing value for money & First class food & service, Can't Recommend enough..🇬🇧👏
I live 120 miles away but when ever local family are visited every month a Curry take away is always taken home, as the quality is so lacking in our area of Lincolnshire. The value the quality and taste is outstanding. Naga my favourite sauce, is unbelievable, so is the Lamb Balti. Keep it up,Please!
