I was bought an afternoon tea for my birthday and what a wonderful present. Lovely warm and friendly greeting. A good variety of savoury and sweet food. Everything was fresh and the cakes were truly delicious. Very impressed with the service too. will definitely be going back.

I went here to meet up with friends. Food was served quickly and was good. There were no activities for children (colouring etc), however I was not really expecting there to be any and had taken my own. The toilet was a bit cold, but nothing too bad!

Popped in for tea, very warm welt, lovely afternoon tea, I loved the Victoria sponge which was exceptionally good. Tea kept really hot in the pot which is perfect, heart shaped scones.... perfect, we thought everything was brilliant

Visited for afternoon tea with my daughters and 3 of my six grandchildren as it was a birthday treat for my eldest granddaughter. Liliana was fab as was her mother.... nothing was too much trouble. She made a special three tiered plate for my granddaughter, gave her a tiny cup to have her tea in ... the Christmas tree was up, carols playing, crackers ... it was a delight and my granddaughter loved it. The food was delish ... so much so that we bought extra tiffin cakes to take away. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be revisiting ... no excuses needed or special occasions required!!

We visited the tea room as a special treat before my daughter returned to school. I was very impressed with the food, the environment and the service. The lady who runs it cannot do enough to help and does an amazing job to run it all on her own. We had the highland tea and it was amazing, a great selection of very tasty items. We love afternoon tea and this is definitely one of the best in the area, highly recommended.

Went for a ladies who lunch outing with a friend. We hadn't realised the owner had changed. We were the only customers and the owner was VERY keen to chat with us. So felt a little bit crowded. Food was ok but not as good as had been. Owner told us she had lots of customers.

Lovely place. Took my mother and father there for hi-tea....lovely tea, lovely cakes; everything I would expect in a tea cottage. The tea room is in the oldest house in the village of Corby....highly recommended. Be sure to duck down when you walk in 😀

The food was delicious, we was made to feel welcome and staff attended to all our needs. The building has a vintage feel to it, with tea leaves and tea pots

Visited this lovely tea room at the weekend with a couple of friends. Extensive choice on the menu, and everything was homemade which was fantastic! Staff were very warm and attentive, will definitely be returning in the near future.

The carvery was ok bu you don't get to choose your veg,the price was £5 more than the raven pub and there you can choose your veg, I unfortunately cannot eat a plate full of veg that time of day, because that's all it is .

Used to be a fab little fish and chip shop. Been times over the years with various change in owners. Not sure what has happened in last few months but quality seems have gone down especially the chips. Perhaps new potato supplier needed or change of cooking fat?

On route to Kirkby Hall in Corby from an overnight stop near Cambridge I saw this well-reviewed eatery on TripAdvisor. It was only ten minutes or so from our destination so we decided to try it out. Very full breakfast menu (including a 'build your own' breakfast!). Main meals all seem to include a hot drink and two rounds of toast and all very well priced. My Special Breakfast was excellent as was my wife's 'build your own'. Clearly a favourite with local bikers and locals, it was very well patronised when we were there between 11 and 12 this Sunday morning. Nice open air seating area if the weather is favourable and its own car park. On the outskirts of Corby at Weldon, easy to find in the High Street. Good children's offerings too. Happy to endorse recommendation!
