We ate last night 8 of us and we weren't disappointed, every course was fabulous.
The starters were lovely all the mains were devoured by all of us, all 8 plates were cleared completely, I had sticky toffee pudding which was the best I'd had for a long time. My friend had Eton Mess, she said it was great & it looked it.
Really recommended giving it a try
Nos encontramos con un amigo para un almuerzo rápido y fue recibido por un personal amable y servido rápidamente en la caja. La comida era deliciosa y sin duda volvería de nuevo.
My friend and I met for lunch. They had the vegan breakfast, and I had a salad bowl with seasoned scrambled tofu. Gorgeous hot coffee and a Brookie for afters. The food was so fresh and delicious , the atmosphere relaxing, decor bright and fun. I’d highly recommend this treasure of a place, especially because we’ve lost a couple of vegan cafes recently in Derby.
We organised a wake for my Father at Hinckley Golf club. Michelle and the team made it really easy to plan. The location was fantastic with ample parking and the space was really well equipped for the event. The food was plentiful and tasty and all in all - I would highly recommend this venue.
5 of us just had fabulous Sunday lunch. Selection and generosity of vegetables amazing. We all wanted a dessert but just didn’t have room! Next Sunday going with 2nd grandson, going to have a smaller main course so I can have pud.
Very friendly hosts and conscientious waitress. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Lovely cafe - food is excellent, very reasonably priced, staff are welcoming and the coffee is great too (with some seriously impressive latte art! 😍).
The food was average; my husband ordered medium rare steak- it was medium. The portion of green beans we received was meagre and the peppercorn sauce was so overwhelming with its pepper that it was inedible. The Mediterranean salad was £12 but was a mean portion. The service was ok- but my in laws had to wait for plates to be delivered, and the meals came out in dribs and drabs. Also very expensive for what it was.
And to top it off one of the members of staff told a male customer it was ok to use the ladies. One may not see this as a problem, but ask yourself this- when is it ever acceptable for a fully grown man to be in a privately enclosed space with girls and women who have to partially undress to use the toilet?
Less than impressed.
Waited 45mins to get our simple food order delivered (after asking how long it's going to take) because a table that came in 10-15mins after us got served the fry ups before us (30mins) by then, the young girl that served us was pleasant (I think new as had to keep going off to get answers) other young lady grumpy & not happy!
My grandsons sandwiche was stale & hard around the outside (mine too tasted little stale) i pointed this out to the owner on which he shook his head in disbelief, so i gave him the sandwiche to which he replied it was crust (this certainly wasn't crust) anyway his attitude stank, no apology, nothing, just a rude and angry person. I will not return as places like this do not deserve my money.
We are seasonal visitors to Oakham as we stay nearby. Oakham hasn’t really had a quality Indian before. That’s changed. We came twice in 4 days. Really tasty beautifully cooked food. The service was quick and friendly and the food freshly cooked and absolutely gorgeous. Can’t wait to come again.
