The best restaurants in East Midlands

I order occasionally, BUT the food and service I am getting is always perfect. Not too sure about the others negative reviews, but I ordered spicy stuff for myself, spring rolls for my missus and chicken meal for our son- all 3 stayed very impressed. The lady over the counter was more than happy to happy to help me with my order. Personally will be using ONLY them, as I also tried other *Chinese* take aways and they not even close Golden Harvest

Great family run chippy, up there with the best in Whitby! The chips are amazing when they’ve just come out of the fryer. Friendly service and good prices. They don’t take card payments but cash machine is round the corner.

We do love the curries from spice merchant however with the recent price increases we can’t justify having them very often anymore

Took my family here on a visit to Leicester, food was very nice but there was no atmosphere and the toilets were so bad we had to go somewhere else to take our children to use the toilet which is a shame as the food was good and the young lad behind the counter was friendly and helpful

Their sweet chilli and sriracha fried chicken is the best thing I’ve ever eaten, no joke. I’d have it as my last meal alive. Would definitely recommend!!! Will be coming back and can’t wait to try the Biscoff cheesecake!!!!! We ordered on Deliveroo as the phone line was busy which was a shame because we couldn’t get the 20% off for students deal. The cheese on the garlic and cheese chips wasn’t melted and could do with more seasoning. PSA: Two portions of chicken and one of chips is plenty for two people. The loaded fries is too much for one person. Thanks Huns! So glad you exist 💓

Tried for the first time. I had the hotdog with mac and cheese. Service was quick and friendly and the portion sizes were good. For me there was too much ketchup, only just warm and and a bit bland. Didn't get a full on cheesey flavour.

Absolutely great place, best Prego in Grantham & the best pint of lager! Order the Super Bock!

Copper Kettle did the buffet for my mums wake and it was perfect in every way I’ve never seen anything like it would highly recommend great food at a good price thank you to all concerned 👍
