The food is amazing, so delicious, delivery was early, we ordered for it to be delivered ASAP and estimated delivery was between 1hr and 1hr 30mins, it arrived within 30 mins. Excellent service and food, will definitely be ordering again

Lovely food, great atmosphere and run by really lovely friendly obliging staff delivering great customer service. Have been in many times and always good.

I really enjoy the food, it’s always really good and this order was no exception however I feel the increase to the prices is becoming a bit much and would be the only reason I would stop ordering from here. I appreciate the prices rise but the increase here seem out of proportion. Spice Merchant has always been more expensive and I think it’s because, in my opinion, it is a lot better than any of the other Indian restaurants in the area but they be pricing themselves out of the market now.

Moved nearby about six months ago, and this has become our go-to takeaway. Food is always delicious, delivered hot, and the quality of the ingredients (including meat) is insanely high. This makes it very good value and I regularly recommend to everyone! Great variety of dishes, have tried many different ones and look forward to trying more. Still to visit the restaurant but sure we’ll have the same great experience we have the last six or so times! Thank you.

We've had half a dozen or so meals now from The Spice Merchant and easily the best Indian locally on this app. Tasty food, hot, on time delivery.

We use your takeaway delivery service about twice a year, normally our experience is 5 star all the way, however last night we found the food below the normal standard, the Chicken tasted old and re-heated, and the Korma sauce/Gravy was watery and lacking taste, rice however was good, and delivery driver friendly, I hope this is just a one off bad night, food was always delightful from here, makes me wonder if the restaurant has new owners?

I came with my family and i must say I'm very impressed , with the service, in which the staff was very kind The food came pretty quick. I ordered a chicken korma with egg fried rice and it is the best ive had. This Indian restaurant is highly recommended to everyone.

Been here twice now, both times with children in tow. The food is incredible and the staff are very friendly. My children love going here and they always feel welcome. Definitely our “go to” for a good meal out.

Delivered on time waiting time was around an hour, but food was delicious and well worth the wait and price. Generous portions and lots of meat in the curry. The only reason I’ve given 4 instead of the full 5 stars is that by the time it was delivered the food had started to get cold and had to be reheated before eating.

This place has seriously gone downhill. Onion bhaji was completely dry and crunchy. No salad or anything with it. Straight in the bin. Poppadoms and pickles all tasted weird, CTM had hardly any meat and the sauce had a strange consistency. Won't order again

Wow! A real surprise in middle of social housing area. Very friendly welcome, explained different Nepalese flavours and dishes. Plates warmed, chutney trays homemade, best keema nan, wife had salmon I had Temuri curry, light flavoursome rice. Attention from staff just right. Will definitely come again. Thank you 😊

Unfortunately I found it really expensive for the quality which was just ok. The rice was way over cooked and stodgy. Flavours were ok but overall a bit disappointing.

I’m guessing Spice Merchant has changed hands now and have seen some of the reviews which aren’t great. However we had a really good meal tonight. The mixed grill seemed more substantial and the side salad was good. The paneer makhani was really good and I really liked the chopped spring onion in the egg fried rice. We’ve always liked spice merchant and we still do. Thanks!

Just had a fabulous meal in this restaurant. Tucked away you would never find it without the power of social media. Excellent menu - good food, hot plates(yes!)and friendly service. First class.

First take away from this restaurant, sheek kebab starter, chicken Madras and pilau rice with Nan bread.excellent taste good portions and a fair price if you enjoy a good curry this is the place for you.

By far the best curry in the area....the Lasun Khursani is easily the best I've had and I've had many! Tried yiu guys a few times with several different meals to be sure but, seriously good food. We won't order from anywhere else now. Highly recommend, especially the Lasun Khursani if you like a bit of spice!
