The best restaurants in West Lindsey East Midlands

What a warn and cosy vibe, loved it! A young lady served us she was polite and friendly and we sat in a private little area which was so beautifully decorated! What an addition to Torkey and the Lincolnshire countryside! A real find! Enjoyed a yummy hot chocolate and a delicious rocky road! Would recommend and would return!

Excellent Welcome. One of our party was in a buggy. It was no trouble at all to let us in a different entrance for that reason. We have a dog who came with us and he was given some water. The food was truly excellent and great value. As it was steak night, two of us had steak with various sides that cost only £15 each. Teghan gave us great service, and Helen the owner greeted us at the end and was very pleasant. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Food (breakfast) tasted funny and we both commented on it. My friend thought she tasted vinegar and I thought it had a metallic taste. 20 mins after eating we both had tummy pains and diarrhoea (we are not a couple so live separately). Not sure if this has changed ownership but things have declined from when we last visited a few months ago. We will not be returning.

Excellent as always , it's been a while and the didn't disappoint. Lovely people who always greet you with a smile and say goodbye to all when they leave 🙂

OMG amazing food and exceptional service. As a lone traveller I'm not always keen to sit in a restaurant on my own, but I was made to feel so welcome and my food was absolutely delicious. I couldn't finish it!

Chips very good, fish never any flavour, but they do a good job burying it in the battery. Nice people and well presented little place. No idea on hygiene, the server wore gloves but was handling money and a calculator then touching the paper that the food goes on. But cover everything in vinegar and you will never notice, hopefully.

This place is rubbish. Roast beef was supermarket packet type charged £18 Sparkling water was tap water. Tables were dirty. The old boy who owns it it is a con man. Reported to office of fair trading.

Becky just did the most wonderful buffet and stunning chocolate and caramel celebration cake for us for our wedding vow renewal. Everyone commented on how lovely everything looked and how yummy it tasted. Thank you so much for being part of our special day 🤩

Staying on the attached campsite and heard good things about the half moon so booked a Sunday lunch for 4. Our guests had informed us they would be a little late. I informed John (The land lord) and whilst they were very busy he told us it wouldn't be a problem. Guests arrived and we had 4 lovely Sunday lunches,good portions and the cauliflower cheese was excellent.

We've been going here for a few years now and always find the food is very good, a good selection and they cater for veggies and also some gluten free food, bonus! The ladies are always so lovely and there is a warm and inviting atmosphere. I'm a big fan of the veggie breakfasts, the best for miles around and really good value.

Called in today and had the gut buster breakfast, I could not finish it as there was so much food. The eggs were divine, cooked to perfection, tasty black pudding, and the hash browns were yummy, coffee was excellent. I would definitely recommend a visit here, staff very welcoming will be back again

Beth was a cracking barmaid and has a fantastic taste in music , well much like mine ! But service was prompt and polite so hats off !
