Called in today and had the gut buster breakfast, I could not finish it as there was so much food. The eggs were divine, cooked to perfection, tasty black pudding, and the hash browns were yummy, coffee was excellent. I would definitely recommend a visit here, staff very welcoming will be back again

We regularly travel to Cleethorpes/Mablethorpe and Skegness, travelling this route, and went in by chance. It's now our regular stop off point, the girls were brilliant with our granddaughter, and the bacon and tomato sandwich I had was perfect, not like your baked ,stood for ages stuff you get at most places.. Keep up the good work,and we'll see you soon.

I came in today with 5 of my family members and the place was so busy. There was two lovely ladies working. The young lady on the till was so polite and welcoming, she explained there may be a slight delay in the food and apologised, but we didn't even wait that long at all. The lady who was cooking had her work cut out, even though so many to cook for, the food was perfect and cooked well too. Yhe girls did amazing and cracked on and got the job done. And I must say, in this heat today ( 31°) and being stacked out nothing bothered them nor was anything to much for every person who walked through that door. Will definitely be coming again. Well worth pulling into the lay-by where is is situated. Food cooked to perfection and very good portions. Lovely place can eat inside or out, very clean and very good service. The amount of cars, vans and lorries pulling in said it all, very busy place usually means excellent food and it was.

Despite the law change in January 2018 they are still charging by extra for paying by card. You’re allowed to have a minimum payment, but under no circumstance charge extra. If 20p is you min fee then I suggest they switch to a processor who charges a % to minimise the profit impact. The owner chose to dismiss when challenged

I have travelled the length and breadth of this great country of ours. I have eaten in all manor of places. But, I must state, Route 18 is a blinder of a cafe. The staff are happy to be there, they will greet you with a smile. They are helpful and courteous. They seem to banter well. As for the food they do a great cooked breakfast, sandwiches and they’ll even do you a simple beans on toast. The food is presented on the plate well and tastes better than my wife’s. The prices are quite reasonable too. All in all Route 18 is the place to eat. Forget maccies n kfc.

Called in for a bite to eat and a brew to warm up, very happy and friendly as I walked through the door, food was very nice and tasty and there was a great selection with a specials board too, something listed to suit everyone’s needs would highly recommend to anyone passing by

Tired and battling with strong wind on the A18 whilst driving recently, I spied the Route 18 cafe and decided to stop and have a moment's rest.Spotless, warm welcome, excellent prices and a beaut egg and bacon sarnie with a cuppa.I'm working in the area again shortly and I will definitely call in again.Thank you for helping a weary traveller :)

Route 18 is an excellent place to get something to eat, the quality of the breakfast are outstanding, the food is always consistent and the staff are very welcoming and friendly, a must if you are passing.

This is a regular stop for me on my travels and never fails to impress with the quality of food. Nothing is too much trouble for the girls in the cafe. Always get a friendly smile and chat. The food is of great quality and cooked to perfection, all at a great price. Will continue to use this lovely cafe. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Called for breakfast before are day out kids been kids and picky but nothing was to much trouble everyone get what we wanted thank you route 18 we will be calling again
