The pizza's are not overrated at all - make sure you go half-and-half! Cocktails are fun as well. Perfect for a birthday meal.

Always use this place. it’s normally fantastic and the best but the last two times now haven’t been great at all. First order:Chicken meat and chips was a very small portion compared to normal and ingredients wasn’t to its high standards as normal. Second order:The cod I received was like cardboard really tough. Really disappointing with these last two orders. Like I say normally the best chippy.

What a cracking little pub this is! A warm welcome and an excellent selection of ales and ciders, I can heartily recommend the Bee Sting honey cider…it’s strong but absolutely delicious. We’ll certainly be going back.

Went for lunch with a friend. I only wanted a sandwich, but was really disappointed. No choice of bread , not even white or brown, and the sandwich was 2 slices of thick, processed white bread with some very average ham and processed cheese. There was a salad garnish. No offer of mustard although there was mayo in sachets on the table. The sandwich was plonked down by a grumpy lady who seemed miffed that a large party had recently arrived and were ordering their drinks from the bar. The pub had been recommended to me, but I won’t be going back.

Lovely pub to visit offering a great choice of home made food. Value for money and portions generous. Service great and friendly staff . Overall highly recommend. Beer good as well .

Had the Planter breakfast and my friends had the stack. Service was adequate, asked if I had a planters card - had no idea what this was so said no - wasn’t informed what it was and that was that. Couldn’t process more than a request at a time and felt like lots of questions asked for a simple request of an americano. After about 15 mins the food arrived, hot. My plate with baked beans appeared to lack the juice that goes with the beans and the tomatoes were chopped albeit fresh. The stack wasn’t worth the price, as for slightly note the breakfast was way better value. Hot drinks felt expensive - over £3 for a cup of tea!! Pleasant enough. Not worth a special trip.
