Two of us plus our dog went for Sunday lunch The staff were very friendly and helpful The veggie lunch options were excellent We had a nut toast and a beetroot mushroom and Camembert wellington which were both delicious The food was beautifully presented and clearly freshly made The puddings of cherry and chocolate tortillas and lemon tart were gorgeous Good beer and wine ,great service and good value for money for such quality food We will certainly go there again

I've been thinking this for a while but have still been coming in. Today I came in with a friend who hadn't been before and she said she felt uncomfortable. When I asked why she said the 2 girls behind the counter were just indifferent, didn't make eye contact, didn't say please or thank you and gave me such an eye roll when I asked for our table to be cleaned. Sadly I find that unacceptable. There is an abundance of coffee shops in Melton where the staff are polite and friendly and bring your drinks to the table...I think I'll stick with them!

As the board above the bar says. Small, but welcoming pub with regulars. Loved the friendly service and everyone seemed to know everyone. I walked into this pub for the first time in my life and spoke to some really interesting people. Staff were really kind and helpful. Real fire too and lovely atmosphere.

We didn't actually get to eat there. We wanted lunch on Monday 4 March. A sign on their door and listing on Google says it opens at 12.30pm. I wanted to make sure ir would be open, so phoned on Sunday evening and was told that it would be open at 2pm, or possibly 1.30pm. So the next day we walked into town, had a drink and then went there at about 2.20pm. Guess what? CLOSED. A total waste of our time and big disappointment. Rest assured, we will not now be going. But we've booked at the excellent Mangal in Syston that has delicious food at a much lower price than Turk Nazz.

Finally a local pizzeria that serves an authentic Italian pizza. The Calzones were really tasty too. Staff were really friendly and patient with our energetic young kids. Will definitely be back.
