Absolutely brilliant to go to for a pint or with a group for a night out and great live music too.

honestly i’ve tried at least 6-8 separate times to dine at this restaurant and each time the atmosphere was extremely awkward with who i believe might be the owner or manager, staring you down or rushing you which with all the people i’ve come to this restaurant did not appreciate. this always been an issue but the food is quite nice although for all the soups there will always be what i believe is narutomaki and seaweed that will obviously taste like or smell strongly of fish which neither does it specify on the menu so there’s not really ways to know what you order even if you look online, for this i ended up a few times pay extremely a lot when the food wasn’t of my liking while also being rushed to either leave or finish up the food quickly by those who work there. also I don’t want to mention this but other restaurants usually would have some songs or radio to not be so quiet inside the restaurant but oppa restaurant never had such thing which again makes the atmosphere unpleasant and awkward

A gem of a place on the edge of Leicester city centre. Parking limited however. You can play English pool, snooker, full bar and an on-site Indian restaurant, all on the same floor.

Went here with a group for pancake day. On their board and website it says they do vegan pancakes until 2pm. Came in at 1pm. They would make all pancake day pancakes for everyone else but refused to do the vegan pancakes on their menu and were incredibly rude staff. Serving everyone else and rolling their eyes when asked for vegan pancakes and no apology for going against what their menu said (they have the ingredients the chef just refused to make them as they decided today there were no vegan pancakes past 12). Really bad and upsetting experience. Would not recommend Edit in response to owner: It was a group of 5 of us so we do have witnesses to backup events, which I am happy to provide. I think it's very unfair to say any of us were "angry" to your staff and the chef did not come out to see us. We were told that you had "stopped making them" not that you had run out hence why we quoted this in the review. If this was inaccurate then there was a miscommunication. I don't think resorting to name calling was necessary....

No queue. Great fresh sandwich. Reasonable price - £7.70 with a can and a pack of crisps ***Update*** They have moved to 1 Snowhill and their hot counter is unreal!!! Hot roast pork, stuffing, apple sauce and gravy on a bagette. The food of dreams 🫡👌👌👌👌👌

*Update as of October 2024 - Now CLOSED. Notice on the door of repossession, such a shame. Old review - Only came in for a quick visit and will be back for a longer one. Fantastic. Really friendly and welcoming staff with a great atmosphere. Excellent quality beer.

Best south Indian vegetarian restaurant in Leicester.

Chicken a little burnt but still all very good quality, great pricing on kebabs and normally isn't a little charred

The service on our second visit here was a disappointment. I get that it was a very busy evening but the staff or the kitchen somehow forgot about our order and we waited for over 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Only when we asked about the food did the staff check the kitchen and tried to hurry them up. When the food arrived the rice didn't taste quite right perhaps because it was cooked in a hurry. They tried to make up for it by giving us free ice cream. But I'd be hesitant to dine here again. The first visit was great though but also because it was only us and two other clients dining there at the time.

If you fancy a proper italian pizza, this is the place. Fresh, full of flavour, thin base, baked in their wood-fired brick oven. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is amazing. They also have a selection of pasta dishes, sandwiches, and salads. Reasonably priced. And if you fancy something sweet after your meal, their homemade tiramisu are to die for.

Absolutely amazing afternoon with pizza and fizz at veeno, the customer service was brilliant I did not catch the name of the lady but she was ever so good, and could not forget the chef Patryk which made sure we were happy with our food and provided top customer service definitely will be returning soon!
