Club 147 in Leicester

A gem of a place on the edge of Leicester city centre. Parking limited however. You can play English pool, snooker, full bar and an on-site Indian restaurant, all on the same floor.

Nice place but just don’t have food, literally Rob your eyes out , shame parking is so bad too

This snooker and pool club is really nice. They have a lot of different tables, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They also have a great selection of drinks and food.

Really good venue, lots of pool tables, great food, all staff are friendly, been here lots of times and have never had a bad experience. I have tried most of the menu including burgers and most of the Indian dishes, it's all good. Lots of large TV's for sport, tables are well maintained.

Amazing atmosphere, always Yousef to go to redeemer just across the street not knowing about this place, its modern and bright snooker and pool club, the workers there are really helpful and friendly!

Best snooker and pool club in not just Leicester but in the uk. Best tables here and the owner is a friendly helpful polite genuine bloke. The staff are friendly and polite. Some days be prepared to wait for service as they are often busy due to their own success. I’ll say it again. THE best tables. Lots of wide open space. Lots of tables. Lots of choice behind the bar.

Had a great game of pool, however, the food was fantastic best curry i have had, it was fresh and full of flavour, I will definitely be back for a game and to feed my family there. Better than any Indian restaurant I've been to.

A pleasant atmosphere, the prices are easily acceptable, the absurd thing is that as a newcomer to this club you have to register as a member and pay a fee of 15 pounds, this is totally absurd and irrelevant!

everything you need at a pool and snooker club, loads of tournaments and events well run, and brilliant curries as well, worth a visit for the curry alone!

They clean up well after use, has a good amount of tables mainly British pool and snooker, outdoor smoking area and drinks and snacks available. You can bring a guest if you're a member for £2 however you have to pay for cues and chalk only negative.

Club 147 is a well presented place, the pool and snooker tables are in a good condition and it's a lovely place to go to just relax with a pint.

Went to play and as a non member I was advised the price for 4 hours would be £60.00 each being £15.00 per hour. We queried this and was then informed that if one of us paid the full price then we could get the other at half price. Suffice to say we will not be using that establishment any time soon!!

Have been going to this Pool and Snooker hall for many years now. Staff always friendly. And reasonably priced.. Have plenty of English pool tables, Along with American tables too. Snooker tables are down stairs in the establishment. The tables are very well looked after. Also a couple of dart boards are there and a football table too. Food is nice they serve burgers chips and nibbles also along with Indian cuisine. So a night out with friends and having fun this is a great place to go.

Amazing place for pool/snooker/darts/foosball. It’s a really big place with 2 floors with an array of tables. Bar is very well stocked with a lot of different spirits and drinks available. Staff are always really friendly! The food is amazing! Best curries and grilled meat platters I’ve had in Leicester, hands down! Would highly recommend for a fun evening out!

Our friends are regular visitors here. We shoot some pool and have a nice curry with friends at this place.The prices are reasonable hwith a good range of bottled and draught beers. For sports fans there are several screens showing football. It's a casual place and the Indian food prices are reasonable

Nothing special, just a nice place to play pool

Play here on a regular basis, some of the tables could do with new clothes although on the whole it is a good snooker venue with plenty of pool tables and live football broadcasts too. All of the staff are friendly barring the old man (the Liverpool fan) who is always grumpy and rather rude.

Been going to 147 for years and it's the best pool/snooker joints around. Have brought friend's, family and work mates and everyone has had an amazing time, as there of course are the pool and snooker tables, table football and darts with a whole lot more. The owner and staff are always welcoming and friendly. Also the food, especially the Sizzler and curries are one of the best around Leicester.
