We went for a Diwali meal and they welcomed us with a smile. Whole atmosphere is amazing and lively. Food is incredible and I would highly recommend to visit and you should try paneer , mogo and manchurian. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. We had a fantastic time celebrating Diwali 😄

I don't normally give 5 Stars so easily but these guys are pros when it comes to hosting big groups. We went for our family Diwali dinner. Amazing food! A very diverse menu which is a rare find in Leicester. Great service, definitely a hidden gem on the Leicester Curry scene!

Well what can I say about this amazing establishment. We had a family Diwali party and the whole team went above and beyond. Nothing was too much to ask for. The food and service was excellent and they treated us all like their guests. My whole family loved every moment. Thank you to the whole team

Had a meal with the family at Chef's Flavour on Saturday. The food is absolutely amazing. The warm atmosphere and the warm hospitality by Manoj made our meal here a memorable one. The chef came our to meet and greet us which was great and the waitering staff member was very attentive. I highly recommend Chef's flavour and cannot fault the service and quality in anyway.

this was one of the best Indian food places I have tasted in Leicester - there were a lot of vegan options. The staff was so polite and couldn't of helped anymore, very friendly and kind, he made us we were all happy, I would defo recommend and I will be eating there again very soon :)

Grabbed a takeaway on the way back from the leicester riders game, the madras and pilau rice was really nice. Will be looking at eating in some time soon

I've been eating Southeast Asian food since 1965 and I've been cooking it since 1970 but I am not Indian I am White English however I have had cooking lessons from various Indian and Pakistani people usually women but men as well so I have had time to learn a thing or two. The food here is really most pleasant it's not particularly cheap the portions are a reasonable size I went with a Punjabi friend he thought it was pretty good too. The larger is a little bit expensive at £5 a pint. We had three different types of chicken tikka chicken wings rice punjabi-styled Currys. They also gave one free dish of fried aubergine it was like aubergine chips I've never had it before and it was really superb I think a lot of vegetarians would like that dish. Why only four stars well it should be 4.5 stars the finest Southeast Asian food I have ever had I think has been cooked by Indian ladies that I know one was a trained cook not a chef but when she cooked for me it was a 5 star luxury. The food isn't oily it doesn't rest heavy on the stomach it's really very pleasant so I thoroughly recommend the place. They have two branches I went to the one in memory lane. Hope my review helps

Good value and tasty food but service needs improving. Food slow very slow to arrive. Had to on ask for a jug of water three times but asked too many times if we wanted more drinks from the bar. Initially refused a request to swop biked rice for pilau even though offered to pay a supplement on the set menu. Brought a bill for another table (when we hadn’t asked for the bill)

Lovely food, good service. It was Saturday night, it was busy so noisier that I would have liked, but that just means people are having a good time.

From the moment the 4 of us walked through the door we were greater with a very warm welcome and smiles. The whole atmosphere in the restaurant was great and the service was excellent, as was the food. The staff are very friendly and not in a rush for you to eat your food . The food itself was excellent and very very tasty, we were also given an aubergine dish to try from the manager which was something we will have again on our next visit as it was gorgeous. Food is great, but place is always busy so service isn’t always great, but Ajaybhai is very accommodating. Very noisy at times so most often we get a takeaway.

Absolutely fantastic service and food. Was made to feel at home on my first visit, and the food? Oh my gosh the food! Possibly the best curry I’ve had. I’ll definitely be returning with my friends and/ or family.

I booked a table of 24 for my birthday. The table was set out in a square so we was all facing each other, which was great! They gave us our poppadoms and starters for FOC which was really generous of them. A friend of mine had been there before and recommended I go. It did not disappoint, the staff and food was amazing. I was even given a birthday cheesecake, which was lovely touch. I will definitely be visiting again.

We visited for an early family meal on NYE, with our young daughter. We had a warm welcome, great service and a fabulous meal. A wonderful selection of food from a varied menu with the house dahl and fish pakora being the highlights. We can’t wait to return in 2024.

Lovely restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised at how great the food were and the service was attentive and lovely. We went on a Saturday and the restaurant was absolutely packed with 2 different big parties, but we were still well looked after by the staff. Price was reasonable for the portion size and the great taste. We'll be coming back!

Had an amazing meal and time here last night. Friendly staff and so organised for a small place. Food was out of this world

Extremely rude manager, I visited this restaurant this evening and complained about how long the food was taking, instead of apologising he seemed to get angry and extremely rude about the fact that there were other customers ahead of us, despite our food taking more than 40 minutes, and added it will take another 10 minutes, he did not have the courtesy to apologise and was extremely rude, I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

We booked a meal here before the darts grand prix final 2023 at the Morningside arena. The arena is right next to this restaurant, one minute walk. Warm friendly service. As a newcomer, we didn't know what to order, so the manager suggested he brought out an assortment of starters. He was able to cater for one of our vegetarian guests. The chilli garlic prawns were super hot but really good. Tempura aubergines and the salt n pepper fish was among some of the group's favourites. I all loved the vegetarian aloo tikka chaat. Lots of other chaats available as a starter. We also shared each others mains and they were all really good. Butter chicken and lamb Rogan Josh were great. The lamb dum biryani was wonderfully aromatic, albeit a little too much mint. Naans and chapati were superb. We had plenty to drink and found the final bill amazingly good value.

Hidden Gem. Great atmosphere and more importantly all the food made to the best quality and flavour. Loved everything about this restaurant. Fish Pakoras and Butter Chicken is a must try.

Food is oilier than it should be and also low salt which is good I suppose. Some curries are sweet like paneer butter masala. Service was good tho and all needs and requests taken care of. They Dont take tastecard despite being on the tastecard app.

For vegetarians I recommend panner biryani, that is one of the best Indian biryani you should try here in Frankfurt

A great place for authentic Indian cuisine. The mixed grill was delicious and can be easily shared between 2-3 people as a starter. For mains, I’d recommend the butter chicken and hari mirch lamb. You can tailor the spice level for the butter chicken which I’ve not seen other restaurants do and I really enjoyed having a spicier version. The service was fast and waiters are very attentive here. The restaurant gradually got busier throughout the evening and the loud voices of the diners disturbed the atmosphere slightly and made it difficult to hear those on your table. It can be helped by having some background music, which would create a nicer ambience.

We were well come nicely, food was very good, chef made the food to my test . Service was excellent.

The good was lovely and the serving staff were very helpful and understood our dietary requirements, so we felt comfortable getting things we would enjoy. I'd highly recommend this place and I'd go back again. There's some parking on the road outside and it's a quiet street even though it's off a main road (at least in the evening anyway).

On behalf of our family, my wife and I would like to thank Manoj Bhai, Suresh Bhai and the entire Chef's Flavour catering team for their service, professionalism, attention to detail and of course the amazing food they provided to us during a recent family wedding Manoj Bhai was accommodating from the outset, nothing being too much for him to oblige. He took on our requests during food tastings and often provided amended recipes immediately. He took the time to reassure the bride that she need not worry about our guests being well looked after, as Manoj Bhai considered them his own guests. This personal touch is what stands Chef's Flavour out from even the largest national event caterers Manoj Bhai worked with us to give us the best package in our budget, and suggested alternatives where we could not stretch. On the day Manoj Bhai and his team were slick, discreet and tidy, impressing our guests tremendously We will definitely use Chef's Flavour in future and would recommend the team to anyone who wants quality service and catering at a decent price point - but with a genuine personal touch. Also you get the same great food and service at their restaurants! Well done Manoj Bhai and team, you guys made our event a success yet again. Thank you from our entire family, all the best!

Great food & service...first time but will definetly dine again

Absolutely amazing customer services. Waiters were so friendly. Food was so delicious i ordered crispy aubergine in starters and lamb roganjosh, chicken on the bone. The portion was full and tasty. Tea was fantastic aswell.

Good food and service. The starters are really good here. Can get bit noisy as the restaurant is like a hall and the sound echoes from everywhere. Parking is bit tricky as well. There is street parking in the vicinity but can get full. Overall good place to eat and the manager/owner Manoj is a great fellow. If you talk to him then he can customize food to your taste.

Went last night with friends! Raucous atmosphere with a group of about 12 guys. Couldn't hear yourself think. Food arrived cold. Poor choice of menu that did not reflect the website menu. Very disappointing. Felt sorry for the young lady who did her best to serve a raucous crowd. We noticed that two couples left the restaurant due to the noise

Very friendly and pleasant staff, nice atmosphere, very well set out, even though running at full capacity very well set out. Food well where do we start? Booked a table for 6 on a Friday evening, as we arrived we were directed to our table which had 6 poppadoms and chutney waiting. We ordered starters which consisted of non veg mixed sizzler, sea bass, fish pakora, chicken lollypop, chilli chips, crispy aubergine. Everything we ate tasted super fresh and clean. If this was just starters, we knew for mains, we were in for a treat. For mains we ordered butter chicken, chicken saagwala, hari mirchi ka gosht (lamb curry with green chilli). All were fantastic bar the chicken saagwala. Reasonably priced , but what you get compared to another restaurant selling the same item for a similar price is the freshness in the taste of the food. Overall a fantastic meal and a very enjoyable evening; lost a star because every Indian restaurant I go to I always order the same food to compare to others and that is chicken lollypop and chicken saagwala. Chicken lollypop should be cleaned from the bone and pushed to the top, here we just got the drumsticks as a whole. The flavours were top notch nonetheless! The chicken saagwala was pretty bland and could have done with some more flavourings, however this could have been a one off as we were the last ones to order mains. Will definitely be back again soon, hopefully will be able to re-review on the next visit and give it 5* which it does deserve.

Yesterday we went first time and as soon as we entered the place had weird smell and when we got our starter (sizzler) there was a smell from food because it wasn’t fresh. Service was alright but I won’t visit again.

Absolutely incredible place to eat and they do such a wonderful job of catering for weddings I can only speak of that first hand. Brilliant staff and just an all round blessing to have here in Leicester. God bless you guys! Jesus loves you 🙏🏼 thanks again.

Went yesterday (Friday Evening). Ordered both a non veg and veg mixed grill which was ok, but lacking enough flavour. Taste of the food is obviously subjective. The really off putting thing was one or two flies around our table. It's not a great experience when you're trying to shoo away flies all the time. There also didn't seem to be an electric fly killer that I could see. This needs to be sorted out! Won't be going back there for a while. Has been decent in the past.

Not the grandest of locations, nor is there a great choice of wine, but the food and service are simply exceptional.

I would have rated this Chefs Flavour 5 Star, when I have eaten there the food is delicious and the service is good. It’s a clean and friendly place. I have reduced my rating because on two occasions in the a 3 month period I have tried to visit once on a Wednesday and once on a Saturday both times the Google my listing sates the restaurant is open only to arrive to find the place is closed. I understand that things happen , staff are ill, the listing is old and not updated. Update your Google listing and make sure it’s accurate, if there is an issue update the times, post an update let people know. Or Chefs flavour will cease being a first choice curry house there are plenty in the area that would be happy to take your business.

I visited the place for the first time with colleagues. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The starters were a real treat, excellent quality and taste. Mains were usual. The place is small and can get very noisy. one can only speak to the person opposite. it was not good for a team gathering. The parking in the area needs some efforts. Lastly the curry was a little strong for my stomach. I would like to go there again but I may only order the starters.

This is a little gem tucked away from the main strip of Indian restaurants. It delivered on unique flavours, and great textures - everything cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something a bit different. My favourite dishes were the crispy aubergines and also tiki.

Absolutely amazing. Totally stunning food and great service. A complete absence of background music completed a full house of perfection. I have no idea what I ate as someone else did the ordering, but there was an beautiful aubergine dish, wonderful vegetable korma, superb mixed grill, I could go on and on. Even the "house dry white wine" was a fab choice. I wholeheartedly, unreservedly recommend this place. Thank you Manoj and your brilliant team.
