Food is nice I'm veggie so options limited but if asked they can make according to ur taste e.g punjabi style etc nice selection of non alcohol drinks bit pricey but ohh well very friendly staff and management try to go 3/4 times a month if not more

7 men came here (curry club) we had drinks in the bar we enjoyed it nice atmosphere very welcoming sat down for meal at 7pm food and service top marks...we really had a great night at this place and will certainly be coming again, thanks.

A real gem of the Leicester curry scene. The Nepalese dishes on offer are incredible. The portions are huge. The tastes are great. Thoroughly recommend this to anyone in Leicester or visiting. Don't be fooled by the exterior which looks like any other pub.

One of best curry I could have find in Leicester,Uk. Specially the Himalayan king prawn and macha Modi khola even thought the staff very well knows about hospitality of a customer and did their job greatly

Good portion of food! The egg fried rice was amazing, super flavourful and fresh ingredients too! The korma is lush but a little on the spicy side for me but super tasty ☺️

Food was ok. A bit cold when it arrived. The crispy bhajia were over salty and got thrown away. The tandoori mixed grill was cold and over cooked and so many of the meats were tough. Not the greatest, but have been there to eat and the food is much better when hot

We were at this restaurant. Booked for 7.30 pm. As nain restaurant was busy and noisy we were given a smaller room where it was empty but freezing. The radiator which was right on other end still it was cokd room. We changed as soon as the table on the main restaurant was available. This was a better and warm . The food we ordered was enjoyable and we had a good time. There is a need of heating in a small room during winter time.

We ordered the meat sizzler, most of the chicken on there was over cooked, the seekh kebabs were bland. Fish pakoras were the only good food there. Then we had lamb and chicken kharia, lamb had too much salt in it so we told the staff, they immediately took it and reordered it for us but the replacement was chewy. Can't fault the service, staff were excellent and always willing to listen and resolve any problems. Shame about the chefs, but tbf there were a lot of people there so I can appreciate that speed over quality would be the thing they would need to do.

The food was over 2hrs late, the app seemed to be stuck on assigning a driver for 2hrs. It was only after ringing the restaurant for the second time that things appeared to start moving and still had to wait another 20 mins. We were all very hungry by the time we got our tepid food.

We had an amazing time at Gurkha Curry. We only had starters but it was really nice. I would highly recommend this place. The mixed grill, chilli chips and lollipop chicken is to die for.

Ordered paneer jalfrezi, received a non veg dish instead. Manager Hari refused any compensation / replacement due to not having drivers? Ruined a celebration dinner.

We've had a booking for the all you can eat restaurant, though the servers didn't understand that we are there for the restaurant not the bar. Otherwise, the food was great and a huge amount as well, so it was worth it.

Wow, that prawn tikka masala and naan was just gorgeous. The food was cooked decently and the curry sauce was well blended. Enough prawns in the curry too. I will be ordering from here again.

We ordered food for 16 people as outdoor catering and Harry's service was impeccable in providing burner's to keep food warm and enough food so there was plenty to go round and above all the food was amassing. I would definitely recommend them and use there services again.

Some excellent food with a nice atmosphere. The only thing was we felt super rushed by the staff. I met some friends there and as we hadn't seen each other in 15 years we obviously got chatting away. However, the staff were really pushy to get us to order quickly.

We visited Gurkha Curry Restaurant on Kerrysdale Avenue Leicester. We ordered drinks and starter as we weren't too hungry. We were served by Hari. Our friends never been here before. So it was my first introduction to them. Our friends and we were very happy with food and drinks. The food served is fresh and hot. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We will be back soon. Booked table but they struggle to find Space , Food had no Taste , chicken wasn't fresh( it was so bad that all of decided to leave starter and not to order anything more), No staff member bother to check if we need anymore dishes, asked to take order for main course few times but no one bother to come and collect order, Waiter's were running like they were in some kind of marathon , Felt like place wasn't safe, If i could i would only give them 0 Star, If you want to go safe an hygiene place don't go, Note: Most important we all had Food poisoning from this food ,

Let me start with the food first. If you going to this restaurant then you must try Gurkhali chicken, and butter chicken. The lamb is very tender and portion size are massive. The atmosphere is very nice and Comforting along with the great serving staff. I highly recommend everyone specially for parties.

Freshly cooked dishes beautifully presented, friendly service. One of the best places in Leicester to celebrate your occasion.

Quite possibly the worst place I’ve been to. Food served cold. Taken back and told we would be given a fresh dish, comes back reheated and meat like leather. We knew it was reheated as could see my teeth marks in the same bits of meat in the rubber like meat when initially served. Service also terrible. Almost like there are no staff. We called the manager and even then over half an hour later still no one to take our order. Don’t bother wasting your money coming here. It’s rubbish.

Today was my son's birthday. So we decided to visit Gurkha Curry. The service and food was well below par from previous experience to say the least. I ordered two drinks as I was early with my wife, her coke was ordered with slice of lime, the waitress brought it without. We ordered amongst other starters a sizzler, the content underneath was cold so I returned it. When it arrived the sizzler was reheated. Several times we asked two serving staff for extra serviettes yet only two handed out! Our next round of drinks took 15 minutes. Three times I tried to draw attention of the serving staff to order our mains but no response. When I did manage to draw attention it was the manager who assured me he would be back in few minutes, half hour went by but no one attended. I asked for the bill and asked to speak with the manager too when he turned up he didn't even apologise that he hadn't attended to take our order. Customer service seem to have left the building end off.

1 Star as I’m unable to give anything lower! We came for a birthday celebration, arriving at 5pm we had the restaurant to ourselves, the party included 3 under 3s who would usually dine around 5.30pm We quickly ordered drinks and starters, the service was shocking and the food poor, our fish and particularly the prawns were cold, the manager confirmed the dish would be replaced but they clearly just reheated it as I could still see the teeth marks in the food on its return. We had to constantly call for service (drinks, napkins, clear our plates and to place an order for food) By 7pm we had still not managed to pin any staff down to take our order for mains so we decided to call it quits. The food from what I tasted was below average, I wouldn’t eat here again even if you paid me.
