Excellent service and reasonably good quality of food. Food was prepared per instructions. Keep it up👍🏻 Prices were fair enough for the value.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Sizzlers. Could not fault the food and the wonderful atmosphere at this restaurant. There staff was excellent very professional and polite. They supplied the wonderful birthday cake. It made the reunion of ex work colleagues coming together more amiable. Would really recommend this restaurant.

Went here for dinner with several friends. The service was great, waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food was very good and reasonable priced. During our meal the manager came over to say the card machine had stopped working, he said if we had no cash we could pay next time, not sure how that would have worked, but there is a cash machine next door so wasn't an issue.

Went with a family for my sister in laws birthday and once again we had a fantastic time. The Sizzlers are absolutely fantastic followed by incredibly good Curries. The only thing I would recommend is to have a table heater which keeps Curries warm on the table. It really would add to a fantastic experience for all your customers.

We gave just had a 50th Birthday Party at Sizzlers and was fantastic. Food was brilliant and so were the staff helping at the party. They will go out of there way to help.

We had a 60th surprise party here with 27 guests within the restaurant itself. Planning was fairly straight forward and dipun one of the owners responded quickly to queries. Kids ate free and adults were £12.95 per person for the basic menu. Food was good and plenty of it. Children had chips and mild chicken tikka, chicken was very tough and chewy and so kids just had chips and ketchup. I have to say the thing that stood out the most was the service by our waiters Jetul and Sunny. They were so attentive, polite, friendly and met all requests quickly. They worked well together to ensure our entire night went smoothly and hope management are aware of this. Oddly the restaurant was quiet apart from our guests for a Friday and we were surprised at this but was nice as we didn’t have to stop the kids running around so not to disturb anyone!

Myself and my partner came to Sizzlers after reading the reviews. I would definately recommend it as the food was really nice and staff were friendly and looked after us.

The function room was a brilliant size ideal for 115 people ideally located, the food was gorgeous and everyone really enjoyed all three courses but most of all support from Dipen and the team made the suprise 70th party for my mother in law one to remember. They were really attentive to our needs prior and also during the party, letting us early to set up and notifying at certain times for a our bar tab. Definitely recommend this venue and the food. On behalf of the Mistry family we wanted to say a Very Big thank you.

We hired the upstairs hall for my grandmas 80th birthday party. Iv got to say the food was on point and all my guests lovedddd it! The staff were brilliant and so helpful and the venue was perfect for what we needed it for. I would most defiantly recommend the food, the service given at the restaurant and if you were to hire the hall and the owners were great too! Very helpful in absolutly everything.

Popped in on a Saturday evening, the venue was very busy but we were seated promptly. Got to say the staff are exceptional, very polite and professional. Drinks ordered which were delivered quickly.

Came here with my mates for a birthday meal and had a banging time. Variety of drinks and food with them catering for the people who were vegetarian and non-veg. Food came out quick and couldn't have asked for a better night. Brought out the cake swiftly when we needed it as well and all went smoothly. Would definitely come here with both my mates or family again.

What can I say one of the best curry houses in Leicester I have been to. Food has been on par everytime. Collectively we have family and friends over to indulge the food we have been craving.

If you are going for a non vegetarian dish at this so-called "Sizzlers" - Forget it! - Had have had better meat dishes from Tesco's ready made meals..... They don't have a clue how to cook any meat dish.... Owners are just interested in lining their pockets counting the pennies, typical... First indian restaurant I have been to that has no green chilli's... amateur waiter and waitresses walking back and forth completely lost like they are being made to work there by force.... Never again!

I absolutely love this restaurant, the food is a amazing, obviously the sizzlers they're known for (both veg and non veg... And I'm not a fan of veg usually!!) but the main dishes are really well spiced, I particularly enjoyed the keema noodles. Staff are so attentive and welcoming, it really adds to the experience. Also, love the cocktails!! Will definitely be going back again, as I have done many times already - never been disappointed!

Visited for a family birthday party - the food was decent, preferred the starters to main dishes. The atmosphere of the restaurant could be better but on the whole a good place to eat and good value.

Been to sizzlers many times and always greeted with warm welcome and great service. The food is excellent and delicious and the staff are always keen to please adjusting dishes to suit individual tastes. Fantastic for family dining, parties or a meal with friends. Would thoroughly recommend.

We hired the upstairs to host a party for 100 people. The room was a really good size and was set up really beautifully so that we had to do a minimum to personalise it. Rupin was really helpful and ensured that we got everything that we required. He was also very knowledgeable and was able to give us advice regarding the party. Prices for the hire of the room were reasonable and the food choice was good. It was also really tasty and we had a lot of compliments from the party goers about how nice it was. A good night was had by all. Overall I would recommend this venue to anybody.

Was very hungry with the whole family but saw it on Melton Road and tried it. Seated immediately and food was out quickly. Atmosphere was nice and food was lovely. Pool table as well to play arohnd a bit. Definitely recommend!

After quite a few people hyping about Sizzlers I went with friends. Went on Wednesday and was pretty empty. Place is dark and in need of renovation. Waiter and owner pleasant enough. The non veg sizzler and chicken jalfrezi were quite tasty compared to the vegetarian dishes. The Malai cofta was so sweet - sweeter than it should be and didn't have much taste. Naans were very soft and were the only ones from the food that looked fresh.

Visited here last night, we dined at sizzlers some time ago, enjoying an excellent meal so wanted to return to see if we could re-live the food for a second time.

Through recommendation of good friends I approached sizzlers bar n grill Management to hire the function room upstairs. From the offset I was treated like VIP. They made the process from start to finish so effortless for me, the whole team was extremely accommodating and went the extra mile to make my event one of the best. The decor was on point and the venue it self looked beautiful. All my guests could not stop raving about the food and hospitality they received from the sizzlers staff, very kind and polite. I am 32, proper foodie and have tried nearly every restaurant in Leicester trust me when I say you MUST GO to sizzler. Great night, excellent venue and such a lovely management group. P.S: we had both veg and non veg, Furar for those fasting but all dealt with separately, clean and extremely tasty!!10/10

Been to a number of places and I cannot fault the food especially the lamb chops! I have to order a portion just for me.. not to share. Overall food is consistent and very nice. Service is great and very friendly, always helpful.

We visited here as part of our Curry Club monthly outing. We haven't been for a year and was interested to see if the standards were still the same.

We visited at the weekend and have to say that, yet again, we were not disappointed. The team are so welcoming and attentive and the food is outstanding. My personal favourite is the chicken biryani - so nice! They will spice the food exactly how you like it which was really appreciated especially as we had such a variety of dishes! First time upstairs was hired by friends dad's birthday and staff were amazing. The food was second to none and fresh and they went the extra mile for my friends. We dined here for a colleague's leaving do. I'd recommended this place as had been before and so the pressure was on for the restaurant to deliver. It really did! Food as always was delicious, and served on time. Customer service was brilliant from all of the staff who were extremely attentive.

I had a great time with my friends on Saturday night. The atmosphere was okay, a bit scruffy as they were fully booked. The dishes were alright but I kept asking for salt as there wasn't any on my table. I order what the owner of the place told me to, which was mix veg sizzler, as he recommended me this. It was okay, however I was kind of disappointed​ with the owner of Sizzlers​ because he was not concentrating on customers​, he was on his phone all time! I asked a question to one of the waiters​ and he had no clue and said "I really dont know the answer but I'll get the manager" and so he did and spoke to him and the waiter who, was so kind towards me, said he be there in couple of minutes. I was shocked as he came after 10 minutes and he answered my question! 1 question I would like to ask the owner of sizzlers is that do you give breaks to your staff? Because if yes, then you are lying to me as I see them working constantly throughout.

An air of randomness. A party of women raucous in a corner, conducting a raffle in which all diners were urged to take part, we bought a fivers worth each...my mate went home with a bottle of Chilean Casilo De Ablo, me, a bottle of Libfraumilch...probably came out about evens...then the ladies started playing bingo...to my right an elderly lady in full Sari munched on popadoms and tobasco sauce...Too the food...excellent range, very attentive service, although I suspect my mate got my order as he gasped his way through it..As my title suggests, this feels less restaurant, more packed northern cricket club bar, but that's a great option if you fancy good food fast, you're wearing flip flops and are happy to join in with a heavily tattooed hen party on a Wednesday night!

We had our wedding reception here on 13th May 2017 and had hired the downstairs room which held up to 80 people. The set up of the room and service of the waiter and bar staff was brilliant. Someone was always there on hand if needed including the manager and everyone was very attentive.The food was incredible, we had gone for food tasting a couple of weeks before hand and we had tailored dishes to our own flavours and they came out even better on the day! We had buffet service in which there was plenty of food and the service ran very smoothly ensuring everyone had eaten in a timely fashion. They even made separate chicken nuggets and chips for the kiddies which was a kind touch :) The meat and veggie sizzlers went down a treat and the curries were authentic and flavoursome just how we wanted.They set up a separate table for me and my husband for the cake cutting and champagne toast and kindly served our cake to all the guests with ice cream.It is a lovely family orientated restaurant who always give you that personal touch and warm welcome. Would most definitely recommend eating here with friends and family. Thank you so much for making our day special and memorable.Will definitely see you again soon :)

We had a surprise birthday party for my mum at this restaurant yesterday.The management were brilliant in helping to sort out menus and suggesting different options and generally doing everything they can to help us before the party.We did not have a food tasting even though it was offered as we live out of town but there really was no need. The starters were amazing as was the main course. The passion fruit juice was an absolute winner and was enjoyed by adults and children.The staff were polite and attentive and no request was too much to ask. It is a family run business which is apparent as the heart that went into making our mums surprise birthday party run smoothly was priceless.We would definitely recommend sizzlers, I don't think that we can praise it highly enough.

We visited with our family who were visiting from London. We all really enjoyed the food, the flavours were great and the portions were really big! The service was really good, and the waiter who served us was really attentive and offered helpful suggestions. Decided to stop by with some relatives on a Thursday night, we had a great meal and will be back again!

After booking my Aunty's party here a few months ago, we decided to book again for my sisters surprise party and all I can say is wow! The room was absolutely stunning. The team got everything ready and set out, lighting was perfect, decor was faultless. We hardly had to do anything when we arrived to set up! We had a great DJ organised by Sizzlers, beautiful chocolate fountain and a photo booth! All of which the team were more than happy to accommodate for and advise on set up etc. The team helped us put together a very different bespoke menu which was so tasty! All the guests really enjoyed it all!As always, the owners came to say hi and made us feel so welcome which adds a wonderful personal touch. The staff were great, very efficient. All in all the party was a huge success and we thank Sizzlers so much for making the whole process and the event seamless and perfect for my sister and all our guests. We shall be back!

Visited here on our monthly curry club outing and whilst we have been a few times before, it was still one to look forward to. Everyone is so friendly and keen to make sure that everyone had a good meal.They made,some dishes for us which weren't on the menu which was good and the Mixed Grill Starters went down a storm. They are big portions and also quite hot in strength.Would certainly recommend a visit here,if you were after a good authentic curry.

We came here for a family meal, The place has a nice atmosphere and staff are friendly. We ordered our starters which were nice and tasty. For Mains we ordered a biryani and a curry. This was where the issue was, the biryani was very mediocre and the curry was absolutely tasteless. I would possibly go here if I wanted starters but definitely not for a main course.

I hosted my husband 40th birthday party last weekend, I was extremely lucky to host my party in their main restaurant. The layout, the lighting and most importantly the focal point the bar was the perfect environment that I wanted to create for my husband. Dipen & Rupen were very flexible and accommodating with our menu choices including last minute changes.They were very attentive on the evening to ensure my event ran smoothly. Been coming to Sizzlers for years and never leave disappointed. Great food, family friendly and reasonably priced. They do a good line of cocktails as well - what more could you ask for! Whenever we have family or friends visit us they always insist on going here for dinner. I'm veggie but meat eaters always rave about the mix grill.

The owner and his wife came and made us feel so welcome and both Dipen and Rupin were nothing but helpful and attentive throughout the whole evening despite the fact that they had another event running downstairs at the same time. The food was outstanding as always and the team made more than enough for our 80 guests! The room was decorated beautifully for your event and all of our guests had an amazing evening, we really cannot thank everyone at Sizzlers enough!

Just held my mum's 70th birthday party here on Saturday 3rd December. Everything was excellent. A few months ago I talked to the owners about the layout, food-tasting, etc. They were extremely helpful and made some very useful recommendations. People loved the layout, organisation and atmosphere. Most important was the food. Everyone thought it was great - both vegetarians and meat eaters . The team could not have been more helpful. Made for a very special night. I highly recommend this place. 5 stars!!

We visited Sizzlers on 19th of November for my dads retirement dinner. There was 25 of us and we were able to pre order to ensure we were not kept waiting too long.The food arrived in good time, not too much of a wait between courses. The food itself was very tasty, the mix veg sizzler in particular was delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. They were happy for us to put some of our own decorations up and we were able to get the attention of staff for drinks very quickly.I have no hesitation in recommending Sizzlers for good value for money, high quality food and fabulous service. We shall definitely be returning.

Went with our family party of 12, on Saturday 5th. Place was completely busy but we all had a really excellent time. Food was extremely tasty and service was excellent. A young Waiter named Aaran looked after all our drinks order and service provided was ace. Food arrived piping hot and was very tasty and everyone in our family enjoyed our party. We will definitely dine here again as this was our first visit celebrating our Diwali Meal. We found the prices very reasonable. Thank you for a great night and lovely ambiance. Ample room to move around and properly lighted.

Myself, family and friends have eaten at Sizzlers countless times and have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. We recently decided to have a family party in the main restaurant area to celebrate my Grandmother's 85th birthday. Everything was easy to organise, from food and drinks to where we wanted to be seated, which was great considering there were 35+ people in our party. We decided the dishes in advance, but knew the food would be great regardless of what we picked - of course we were right and the food was great. On the night, all of the colleagues were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help with all of my requests. The whole family had a great time and it was a night that we will all remember. A big thanks to Dipen and his team for helping to organise and see through a fab night. I'd definitely recommend Sizzlers to others and know I'll be back again soon!

Brilliant service and even better food!! Especially the chefs special lamb or chicken on the bone. Staff are very polite and the management team help to fit every requirement. I came here a few days ago for a huge family gathering and saw great reviews. Unfortunately, I was unimpressed. The food had clearly gone past its best before date and guests had reported this to the management but the workers wrongly insisted the food was fine. The chicken was also very pink. The following day, the majority of guests had food poisoning - including myself. I was throwing up all night and still till this day I cannot hold down solid foods. Not only does this breach food and safety regulations but what is even more appalling is that this matter could have been avoided if the workers were more inclined to listen to their customers rather than trying to prevent any damage to the company's reputation. This only goes on to highlight the incompetence of this company. This is by far the worst experience at a restaurant I've ever had in my entire life and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We had my son's 18th birthday here on August 13, wow, what an amazing night was had by all of the family!! The food was outstanding and the hospitality of all the staff was fantastic!! This was a first time visit for us but certainly will not be the last, we will be visiting again very soon!! I would highly recommend this venue to anybody who wants an amazing evening!!!! Great family atmosphere, the starters are exceptional; try the lamb chops and samosa chaat. You can tweak the dishes to taste and there is a great bar area (classy and clean). The pool table is great to keep kids entertained between courses and of course for a little friendly competition. Highly recommended.

We held my dad's surprise 60th birthday party at Sizzlers and it was absolutely great. We're from Canada and the restaurant was very accommodating in helping us set everything up overseas. Met with the manager/owner and as per his suggestion, we were able to move the party from the function room down to the restaurant. He also had great recommendations for both appetizers and mains. We were also able to use our own music and provide photos for a slide show to run in the background. The party went off without a hitch and the food was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect and everyone had a very enjoyable time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to not only friends and family living in Leicester but to those also visiting Leicester for a short time.

Night away from the kids. Friendly lively atmosphere, amazing food and charming staff. Fish pakoras absolutely delicious cosmopolitan perfect. My Fiance and I were down from Scotland visiting my Mum and Dad. We come back to Leicester every month to see my Mum & Dad and my Mum always cooks for us but this time we thought we would give my Mum a rest and go to Sizzlers. Everytime we go to Sizzlers they are always busy but no matter how busy they are, the service is always fantastic and the food is absolutely delicious and there is always a great atmosphere and buzz. We always feel at home and Vipul and Rups always make sure they personally come over and say hello even though they are so busy so thank you guys for also making my Mum and Dad feel special. My Mum said today "Those 2 lovely boys always come & say hello"!!

First time visit: one of the best mix grill startes. Family all commented on how flavoursome it was. Will definitely be going back. Thanks to the management hospitality.

The service as well as the quality of the food was flawless. Greeted pleasantly upon arrival and shown to our reserved table immediately, with the drinks order arriving right away.The quality of the starters along with the mains was perfect and everything came to our table in a timely manner. The food was accustomed to how spicy we requested and this was done perfectly.Overall, great atmosphere and the staff are really friendly and welcoming; definitely recommended!

Came down with a few of my friends, kindly greeted staff are really nice.Food came out hot and was really nice would definitely recommend for a party or even just a meal 10/10!

This restaurant is completely average compared to others on Melton Road. Food did not have any flavour and it did not seem fresh. Only reason I have given it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the Chilli Quorn tasted amazing. Apart from that, I was not impressed with other dishes. Ordered a mixed veg sizzler, it lacked the smoky taste and the mushrooms just tasted of pure grease. Chilli chips special was definitely nothing special, just had a bit of chilli sauce and cheese thrown in it, The chips had a frozen taste to it so clearly not made fresh. For main, I had naan and paneer tikka masala, but it was more like butter paneer and lacked the "masala" part. Naan also had a very strange to it. It was a disappointing experience overall and I would not return again which is a shame as the price is reasonable and service was also good.

I usually enjoy coming to this restaurant.. i must say the starters were lovely. The mains did disappoint- not much flavour and when we told the waiter, he didn't bother to come back to our table to ask if everything was okay.. typical waiter attitude.. We just didn't feel comfortable in the atmosphere after that and left straight after paying the bill.
