The food was aswome. Service was extraordinary and the best food space in Leicester.

Made many visits to this restaurant and on most occasions enjoyed our meal, today was very disappointing you clearly state I want my curry mild in spice but the waiter doesn't seem to understand what mild is, after complaining they replace the dishes and just as spicy, I swear they brought out the same dishes just as spicy. Won't be going here for again!!!!

This is the best restaurant ever! The food was absolutely amazing! The taste was very nostalgic and the quality was amazing!! I recommend the chicken kebab and definitely the halim! The people were so respectful and lovely! You might want to take cash as they don't accept card!

All the dishes we ordered were delicious. The lamb karahi was very average. Overall great flavours. The haleem and the chilli chicken in their traditional sauce were the stars of the show.

I was visiting today. I was orders mix grill and chicken tikka curry. Mix grill was very tasty. But I don't like chicken tikka curry it was very sweet. Service was OK or OK.

Flavour and texture of the lamb karahi is so good here. Not too greasy, great portion size, super affordable. It’s a taste you’ll end up craving. Lamb seems to actually be slow cooked instead of pressure cooked and it makes all the difference. Super tender and rendered. Prawn starter was good value for money, and used good quality big prawns for that meaty texture. The atmosphere is more casual dining. Suitable for families and big parties.

Great food and nice ambience. The kebab platter and mutton korma was great, worth the price. We tried the mint mojito as well which was good. Honest suggestion to upgrade the dum biryani a bit, may be increase spice level a bit more. Overall a pretty nice cozy place in Leicester to try out mughlai dishes.

It you love your girls, and are in or visiting Leicester, Pamson Grill really does pack a bunch! In particular, the Lamb Seekh kebab. This is their description..."Minced lamb meat marinated in Pamson Grill's signature spices chargrilled and served on a sizzler with fried onion. Tastes like Burn Road Karachi's Kebab." So probably one of the best Seekh Kebabs I've ever had! They really did go all out here with them! The curries were also on point and very authentic in taste, giving you the option of adding your preference on the spice level. Booking in advance at busy times is advisable! One slight area for development could be the man taking the money at the end near the door. A message to him, Keep smiling and one day life will get tired of upsetting you! Always leave the customer with a positive exit experience!

Today we orded from pamson grill to our hotel. The total came to £56. Papri chaat was really good it was thoughtfully structured and topped with yogurt and tamarind sauce. Sweet, savoury and crunchy. 8/10 The main stair of the show the "lamb Karachi", very disappointed. This dish consisted of rubbery cuts of meat, pre made gravy base blended with too much onion! This is disappointing as it's not authentic karahi. 4/10 The Chicken dum biryani. Mildly flavoured and the rice were of a good quality the portion was good even though bits of cloves and cardamom kept getting in the way. we still enjoyed it. 6.9/10 The fish pakora. This little bundle of joy packed more flavour then anything else in the order. Although it wasn't crispy due to being a delivery, I would still recommed a double portion of these. 8.9/10 Masala chips. Considering this place claims to be a all authentic Pakistani restaurant the use of ketchup in the masala fries is a comedy in itself, however it was quite nice. 6/10 Conclusion. This was a average experience. I feel the price is not justfied and the chef should revisit Pakistan to get the karahi right. Having said that I would encourage people to visit this place as I have dined in before and enjoyed the mixed grill. Overall 6.3/10

I went to Pamson grill for iftar with my family. The atmosphere and food was great "proper pakistani food" 👍 and hospitality was outstanding thanks to everyone for such a lovely experience. I will definitely recommend everyone to come here and taste the real pakistani food.

The food is really good , I have tried 3 buffets but this was the best one … they prefer quality over quantity , the items are very limited but all good , will surely visit again before Ramadan ends . It would be great if they would add 1 more tandoor starter .

We went there yesterday, 31/03/2024 after going through some positive reviews. Food was delicious and fresh which was good. Not too much inetrraction was involved as it was buffet service in Ramadan. Everything was brilliant however, the most important thing was lack of choices in terms food items. Most of them were starters and good but, there were only one dish and a gosht biryani and that was it. Costing £17pp and we were expecting not a range of food items but could've been a little more choices. There was no desert no kher no drinks but water. Before I left, I suggested these to the guy at the till. In birmigham buffets cost around £20 to £21 but the amount and variety of food there is something of different level. The guys said they would review my suggestion for next ramadan. Overall, good fresh food and tasty no doubt!

Visited with family and had an exceptional experience! Best Papri chaats! The starters we had, Chilli Paneer, Barahi Boti, Masala Chips, and the Peshwari Naan & Prawns were absolutely sensational. The Meat Karahi was impeccably cooked and delicious. The customer service was great, making the overall dining experience amazing.

Disappointed. As a group of 16 we booked a table at Pamson Grill for a birthday meal. They unceremoniously booted us out 1.5hrs into our meal. All of our food was unfinished and we were forced to pack up our food into takeaway containers. We were in the middle of our meals. The lack of care and hospitality ruined the whole night for our birthday girl. And it was just before Ramadan when people should be showing the most kindness and care. I can't recommend Pamson Grill. They should be so ashamed. The amount of money that comes from a table of 16 who would have ordered more drinks and dessert and had a great experience and subsequently returned. Very short sighted and unpleasant. Shameful.

We came in a group and was seated immediately. The place was very clean, and so were the tables. The waiter was very nice and gave personal recommendations. The menu is well structured and have iconic dishes for a Pakistani Restaurant. The food came out in a reasonable time and was fresh. We ordered Chicken Karachi, Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani and some Naans. It was a great experience and have recommended it to all my friends.

We had a party here for my daughter and father's birthday. The service from Umair was spot on, he listened to our needs and delivered exceptionally well on the day. Our guests really enjoyed the food and service. We will be booking further events here in the future.

I ordered platter for 4 but what I received was not even enough for 2 people. Usually platter comes with salad, bread or rice etc but this has just 2 small pots of dips 1x mint sauce and sweet chilli. Extremely spicy and not very good value for money. Not using them again. Extremely disappointed!

Got two half kg curries (Lamb Karahi and Butter Chicken) with chilli chips and 6 Naans (2 normal 2 garlic 2 cheese) and jug of mango lassi between 5 people and came up to £12 per person

I hosted a birthday party here during the day. From the first conversation in arranging to the event itself, the staff were brilliant in accomodating all of our needs. The service during the event was first class and the food was brilliant. I highly recommend anyone who is arranging any sort of event to try out Pamson Grill. Thank you!

Has been extremely good in the past. So changing 5* to 2* unfortunately. Especially after paying almost £60 for three adults and a child. Disappointing.

Found this place by chance Ordered mixed grill, chicken dum biryani and boneless lamb karahi Mixed grill platter contained 4 lamb chops, 4 chicken boti, 4 lamb boti, 4 chicken wings, 1 lamb sheekh kebab, 1 chicken sheekh kebab Each item of the mixed grill tasted delicious. We went to Pamson Grill after nearly a year. Our previous experience was not so good, but this time food was great. We had the mix grill, Chicken tikka bihari boti, Chicken nachos, Lamb karahi, butter chicken l. masala chips and Papri Chaat. The mix grill had a good variety of meats. all cooked to perfection and had the right level of spice. Chicken bihari both was a first I've seen in the UK. Last I tasted was in Karachi. It wasn't as good as Karachi, however it was very good for UK standards Butter chicken was nice. Creamy texture and sweet taste. Lamb Karahi was the best, meat was tender and went well with the fresh naan. Chicken Nachos were ok, just standard. Masala Chips were good, but a little too spicy. Papri Chaat was lovely, had the right flavours. Overall very good experience would love to go back. Maybe last time we went was just a bad day, Was complaining last week that there is no good place for indian/Pakistani food in Leicester. Well now I don't need to look elsewhere. Pamson Grill is the place.

Food hygiene rating 2/5 which i should have checked before visiting. food under cooked and chewy, flies flying around whilst eating which makes me think how must the kitchen be.

I was recommended by a friend to try this place, service was okay, had to try finding waiter few times when wanting more drinks. Food was okay, nothing special had Chicken dish and a butter chicken.. not happy they used chicken thigh instead of chicken breast.. lamb chops were dr6 and small portion.

Came here Saturday evening with fam and friends from Birmingham - have to say the starters and mains were absolutely unbelievable. So tasty and the customer service was amazing also, Looked after all of us. Only negative I have is parking around the area is horror but that’s no fault of the business. We held a private dinner for our family, we had the whole restaurant for ourselves for a good part of the day. The staff and the man we dealt with; Omair was very helpful and accommodating. He helped us achieve our vision for the lunch and was very open to any changes to the layout and menu we had even last minute changes. The food service was done and handled very well and all of our guest left satisfied and fed happily, the food was served hot and fresh including refills. We had the restaurant till 4.30 yet despite us being late the owner did not rush us out and did not pressure us to leave either. We ate at this restaurant in a small group as well the the big group later on and both times were satisfied with the service. Would highly recommend the restaurant as they know how to serve quality Pakistani food and do it in a welcoming way. Would eat here again.

After ordering chicken kadai, I waited for 30 mins. The chef told us really sorry we ran out of stock. They just keep telling us to 2 mins more, 2 mins more and food will be there. Why bad service, if you have great food. Please raise your standard of service. Don't lie to people for food and keep waiting.

Ordered mixed grill which shows on the menu should come with 1 lamb sheek kebab both the kebabs tasted like chk or maybe even lamb mixed with chk mince?? For 1695 expected a lot more ...also had a lamb karay which was ok

Latest review - went and waited for half an hour just to be told that the dish is over! Went to the restaurant 1 hour before closing and ordered a curry and nan. We waited over half an hour. When asked about our order, 2 waiters told us that it'll be ready in 2 mins. Then the third time the guy came to us apologising that the dish is over!! Disappointment. Perhaps the management should look into what's going on in the kitchen. Very good Pakistani cuisine served here. The portion sizes were great, and the prices were reasonable too. The staff were friendly, and good at explaining about the dish and portion sizes. Only downside is that they accept only cash.

Honest review -We ordered the chicken biryani , chicken tika masala and lamb karahi . Flavours were great in all dishes but disappointed as they were very stingy with the meat in all three dishes , barely had any actually . For the money I had spent I expected more…

The food was delicious, both in terms of quality and quantity. I thoroughly enjoyed it during my entire trip. In Leicester, I liked only this restaurant for its vegetarian food; the taste was amazing. I tried many restaurants, but this one stands out. My guest also enjoyed the non-veg food, and he was quite happy as well.

Best Pakistani food in Leicester. So delicious. Always have the mixed sizzler grill with kohrai chicken or lamb, naan, chips, and plenty of fresh salad. Amazing taste that is worth experiencing. One snag, parking reminds me of our government, its just as terrible!
