Perfect lil pit stop with friendly staff

Wonderful meal last Saturday night. Food is excellent and the staff are really great, very attentive and personable. Beer great as well. Would recommend this establishment to everyone you will not be disappointed. Would take any family and friends there for a great night.

We had a family dinner a couple weeks ago and were disappointed. The staff whilst good were clearly rushed off their feet due to a lack of numbers. We had the steak chateaubriand (which isn't cheap) it was cold. The rest of the food was luke warm. I won't be returning

Nice place staff the nicest we have had in a long time smiles and very pleasant food was ok but what let it all down was the presentation,looked as if the chips, side salad and mushrooms had been thrown on the plate and the steak thrown on top as a after thought, spoilt the meal for me

This pub could be a little gem but sadly its filthy. The mens toilets are nothing short of a disgrace. We visited the area to see friends in mid February and there was a used tissue sat on top of the hand drier in the mens toilet. Visited again yesterday and its still there 3 weeks later. The pub feels cluttered and needs a serious clean out.

Visited for a early mothers day treat. Food beautiful as ever, ordered steak and ale pie and pizza. So morish and filling. Would reccomended The Royal Redgate, its a must visit.

Booked here for dinner as I was staying near by.Venue is nicely decorated and welcoming.Monday night, so was very quiet which suited me so I can't say how good service would be if busier but it was fine for my needs.Food was good ,average price for the type of menu but all was tasty. Lemon Cheesecake was very nice and decent sized slice. Would eat here again.

1st visit to The Dog so was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food which is 2 for 1 every day.Staff were friendly and welcoming so we would definitely go back

I had a lovely evening meal out at this location, the service was brilliant couldn’t have asked for more. I had the steak and ale pie which the red wine rue was to die for, would highly recommend.
