Great pub, staff great, beer great.

Our meal was a takeaway, it was fabulous, good quality food, all very very tasty …From the complementary popadoms, chutneys and yoghurt to the main of chicken Ghurkali, plus sides of Channa, 2 samosas and liberally sprinkled coriander /garlic naan…yum yum. 10 out of 10 and all very reasonably priced. Been here a few times with the missus, always excellent service and food and recommendations from the Manager on duty ,we will be back again,,the best fish and chips Nottingham has to offer without a doubt,

Called into Arnold and decided to treat ourselves to a cooked breakfast, so dropped into Front Street Café, just up from Asda. Ordered the classic breakfast with a fried slice at £6.50. It was very tasty, not greasy, lovely sausages, and a great portion. And the tea was especially nice, which isn't always the case in some cafés. The café soon became busy as it was already lunchtime. The interior was welcoming, clean and inviting, with a friendly lady serving. Will definitely call in again when next in Arnold Centre, based on our experience today. (The only downside, and hence only 4 stars, was the condition of the toilet, which needed some serious attention.)

Asked for a bacon and Tom cob with the fat cut off, she basically cut my fat off and fried it then put it on the cob, so I paid £6.50 for a hot drink and bacon fat cob absolutely terrible
