The best restaurants in St Marys Gedling East Midlands

Great pub, staff great, beer great.

I was looking at booking this venue for Christmas Day but unfortunately we did not have a good meal. Illness prevailed and I was very disappointed. Also, we were overcharged. This was put right, but it wasn't dealt with well. I don't like to leave negative reviews, but I have to be honest. Hopefully, I was just unlucky as the restaurant comes highly recommended.

Really loved the food and Service. First time, I'm experiencing Greek food as an Indian. They were very quick with supply and was friendly.

Been here a few times with the missus, always excellent service and food and recommendations from the Manager on duty ,we will be back again,,the best fish and chips Nottingham has to offer without a doubt,

Called into Arnold and decided to treat ourselves to a cooked breakfast, so dropped into Front Street Café, just up from Asda. Ordered the classic breakfast with a fried slice at £6.50. It was very tasty, not greasy, lovely sausages, and a great portion. And the tea was especially nice, which isn't always the case in some cafés. The café soon became busy as it was already lunchtime. The interior was welcoming, clean and inviting, with a friendly lady serving. Will definitely call in again when next in Arnold Centre, based on our experience today. (The only downside, and hence only 4 stars, was the condition of the toilet, which needed some serious attention.)

I have been coming here for the best part of 2 decades. Love the food, love the vibe, and the manager is always so welcoming and recognises our family. Love it!

I had a fantastic dinner there. Food was good to a very good price, and enjoyed the atmosphere. Staff was really lovely and making sure we were ok, can't wait to repeat with them. Saw on the leaflets that they are doing special dinners for Christmas time, and looked lovely.

We had drinks only but very pleasant staff and reasonable prices.

First and last time I visit Very poor food, meat pieces small and not much of it,curry sauce dish was very watery I normally go to the two chinese takeaways on Beckhampton road, bigger dishes, meat twice the size and more of it

Asked for a bacon and Tom cob with the fat cut off, she basically cut my fat off and fried it then put it on the cob, so I paid £6.50 for a hot drink and bacon fat cob absolutely terrible
