The best restaurants in Thrapston Lakes East Northamptonshire East Midlands

Great little place just behind the High Street. There's a walkway through the Kings Arms beer garden. A big shout out to Kate who was friendly and pleasant even though only there for a soft dring and a mint tea. Fabulous to sit outside in the sunshine.

We stayed here on two occasions, in our campervan to the rear of inn. Quiet and good location. We enjoyed a nights sleep during both our stays. The staff at the inn are fabulous, welcoming and friendly and the owners are really doing a great job. The food was delicious and the ambiance of the inn was just what you’d hope for, log fire burning in the hearth, dog friendly and lots of positive chatter. I’d recommend this as a stopover and eatery.

I love a good authentic Indian, but this is not one. The food was awful and not authentic at all (fake red tikka sauce) all mushroom dish’s are awful, all food was cold. Also they charge you £3 for a mango chutney board (which you don’t ask for your given) I advised they should advise of a coat before giving it but he said no all places do this. We advised him this is not the case and they can’t put things on the table that were not asked for and charge for them!

I’ve been living in Thrapston for a few years now and have never been here before but… I would definitely recommend going there for some excellent Chinese, Thai, Malay cuisine’s… absolutely amazing food. 10/10

Been here a couple of times, second time for Sunday lunch. Staff are friendly and cater well to customers. The food was incredible, recommend the lamb. Personally prefer a crispy parsnip, and the crispy edges of stuffing, but everything was spot on.

Having a couple of pints listening to the background music ...then bloody football takes over ...best thing about it no one is watching it or listening to it ....sad times

Visited here on a night in Thrapston. First class in customer service and food. Never had a better meal. We were welcomed and it was packed, no wonder, glad we booked. There were a few waiting on tables and they were efficient and entertaining.

Food very poor. The starter mixer box was overcooked and dry. The seaweed tasted like over used oil was disgusting. The four seasons chow mein in the black bean sauce was very salty. It was genuinely a waste of £42 pound.

SpotOn Kebab in Thrapston is a solid choice for a takeaway. The portions are generous, and the food is really tasty. The salad was fresh, and the service was quick 10-15 minutes depending your order . Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and craving a good kebab!

Although the food is normally OK ,we won't be ordering a delivery from here again until the new owners take over. The female delivery driver on a weekend is just too much. She will keep you talking at the door for several minutes. She talks constantly about others and I am fed up with listening to her talking about her bosses drug dealing court case. Hopefully the new owners will not employ her .

If this is what you want, you are in the wrong place , only two dishes offered, not nice , go across the road !! Was so disappointed cannot say that they even tried !

Food was delicious as always , the chips weren't great though.

We had 2 bacon rolls and 2 coffees for less than a tenner. The crusty rolls and bacon were delious and excellent value. The staff are happy, friendly and helpful. This is the first time we've ever been in and we'll definitely be back.
