Went for coffee and food. No smile or eye contact and man was in a bad mood. Slow with the food and the atmosphere was bad. I won’t visit again

My husband son and daughter in law and I had Sunday lunch here. An unusual place very small but nice with brilliant service, more than friendly and efficient. Loads of food we struggled to finish it but everything was really good.

Called in for a coffee which was a bit cold tbh However the Brownies looked amazing so took a box home and yes got to give a 10 out of 10 lovely brownies :) taste home made and are delicious a great texture etc

Can't comment on the food as we went for beer! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The service was also really quick considering how busy it was the evening we went in.

Visited with my family for my birthday. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Callum and Matt looked after us as well as the others serving food and they were all lovely. We had a mixture of starters which were all beautiful. Camembert in particular was delicious, little recommendation to serve with some chutney rather than the oil but still 10/10! The Chateaubriand for main was stunning. I love the steak served on the stone. Callum and Matt also brought over a birthday board with a shot, lovely touch! Overall the food was amazing, staff were amazing and well worth the money. We will 100% be coming back :)

One of my favourite places to eat in Derby. We have been as a couple and with larger groups of friends and the service is great. The food is always delicious, freshly cooked and presented beautifully. Would highly recommend.

First impression: clean, warm, great music! Customer service is great, my hot chocolate delicious, choice of great desserts. Quickly becoming one of my favourite cafes

We came as two couples the room was cold and not very inviting as we did book another table over 4 weeks ago. We ordered the drinks and guess what they got those wrong. We all had starters after requesting for salt and pepper which was not even set out on our table. On the TURKEY ESCALOPES plate which two of us ordered for the main what looked and tasted like frozen peas and carrots. Portion size was only adequate at best. After not requesting for a dessert we had seen enough. I cannot remember such poor service poor food and poor value for money. Each couple paid £75 which was daylight robbery.

Fantastic food with a slight twist to the regular Indian restaurants. Well worth trying the alternative dishes, very tasty.
