The best restaurants in Holmebrook Chesterfield East Midlands

Before we went I couldn't see how they could get 5 out of 5. Now I know how, simply one of the best Italian meals I have had. The menu was extensive, the food was good quality and reasonably priced. The staff were excellent and the complimentary lemoncino at the end was a nice touch. Hopefully that will take off over here. Dog friendly too.

Great Value Breakfast,£5.00 for 12 items and you get a right plate full. Been here a few times before and the foods always good as is the staff who are always pleasant and friendly will be back again, if near by give it ago.

Food was unfortunately underwhelming & forgot our Saag Panneer side dish.

Come on, Chesterfield. What’s wrong with you? Excellent beer, with the brewery round the back; pints under £3; great live music; and there’s only a dozen or so in on a Sunday evening.

Decided to stop for some fresh coffee, tea and cakes as we were in the area and since we were in the area and had heard so much about the place, we thought why not. I must say it was a delight and were not disappointed. The cakes were nice and fluffy and the coffee were absolutely spot on. We will return when in the area.

We booked a table,just in case, no steps so wheelchair friendly. We were showed to our table by a lovely lady who got us the menus. So much choice but i had a egg omelette with salad. So tasty and filling but then i was naughty and had lemon meringue pie with cream. The portion size was massive and so as i am diabetic i had to leave my meringue bit to my own heartbreak. Fully recommend- beautiful plac3, friendly staff and fabulous food

Best fish and chips in Chesterfield. Never tasted better anywhere. We travel from Mansfield to get them.

My favourite butty shop. All the staff are lovely and the food is great and reasonably priced! If you want a very naughty treat try the cheesy chip btty!

Fish looks like it was double fried, as the crust was so thick. The fish was stiff. The fries was good.

A very beautiful pub inside and out, I wasn't there for long but the staff were friendly and professional and the drinks were excellent.

The meat was cheap processed and quite rank. The sauce tasted like a cheap out of the jar sauce and the rice was tasteless. I recieved a burnt nan bread and a broken soggy poppadom with no sauces. I could of cooked a better meal for less than £5 with cheap ingredients for aldi

No real ale here which is à bit of an own goal in my book. Clean and tidy but the loudish music detracts from the atmosphere. There is a comment on the Internet that they sell alot of Guinness,think this is the gall back for real ale drinkers,not that it's popular.

The food it's self was really good, the service very poor. Pre booked a large party, got there to find that not enough places were set up. When we asked (I believe the owner) he said nothing we can do, we didn't think you'd all turn up... So 2 of our guests ended up leaving and 2 ended up at the other side of the restaurant. Wouldn't return which is a shame as the food was good. But the service VERY poor.

Live music. Was a lovely atmosphere. Drinks a little expensive, but, tis, wot it is... Lovely little venue. 1st time here and I'd definitely go back... (Watch out for the live feed Facebook camera, above the bar. I was spotted on there by my sister 😆)
