Tramway Tavern in Chesterfield

Fantastic atmosphere for the live act on Saturday. Great to see a busy pub. As usual the beer selection and quality was excellent.

Fair priced drinks, good atmosphere!

So pleased to see this pub open again after the flooding in Chesterfield. A great tradition tavern, Everades Tiger resident guest beer as good as ever. Lovely barmaid on duty.

Really pleased to see this pub open again having been caught up in the recent Chesterfield floods. A Brampton Brewery pub also serving the residential guest Everards Tiger ale which was outstanding. Great pub with a lovely barmaid on duty this evening.

Didn't have food there so can't comment on that 😊

Just been in for. Beer , 3 bar staff & I presume the land lord on there phones , young man served me very pleasant asked for lime for the wife’s corona they haven’t got any the Landlord looked discussed the I wanted a slice in the drink

The worst public house in Chesterfield

Great selection of beers and excellent service.

If you like real ale this is a hidden gem on Brampton. Nice atmosphere. Relaxed vibe. No pool table or dartboard etc.

Pleasant pub with a wide range of beers to choose from. The beer garden out the back is nice and has lots of space. The only downside is where the bar is, when it gets busy you struggle to get to it and go past the thronged masses queuing up for a pint.

A pub attached to a local brewery. Very traditional. Small spaces and friendly staff. No parking as this is a drinkers pub and a pub used to call in at on the way to town.

Comfortable , tradition Pub with friendly Service and a good range of Beers. Nice ambiance with the option of a Beer Garden. I love visiting here. To be highly recommended.

Amazing service. They really stand out. Ask them what you should drink they know so much and are well travelled. Great selection of high quality drinks. Year on year - the best pub in Brampton for a drinker who wants something different.

Excellent. Lovely chilled out afternoon with a couple of pints of the beer of the week, The Monocled Mutineer. Outstanding.

This is a real, proper pub. Great selection of hand-pulled beers, lovely outside space and comfortable and cosy indoor seating areas. There’s covered outside space too, and The Tramshed which is a real inside/outside space to enjoy. Definitely one for the real ale fans making their way down Chatsworth Road. One of my favourite pubs in the area and one I am keen to revisit.

Visited a while ago, outdoor smoking area is nice so are the staff

Wedding reception here just a family and a few friends, fantastic time most enjoyable. Happy to recommend.

Propare pub not many abart these days good old tarn

Very friendly staff, great selection of beers including cask of the week (£2.60 a pint), lovely large beer garden at the rear including the covered "tram shed". Dog friendly inside and out (with dog treats behind the bar!

Recently moved to the area and visited the bar on the evening of Sat 22nd May. First impressions were really good, but they were short lived as the service was appealing. The bar was fairly quiet for a Sat evening, but we noticed that many customers were dissatisfaction with the poor service. We were disappointed to find that the manager was the most disengaged and rude member of the team. We left and will not return, which is a shame as it’s a nice bar and I was hoping that it would be my new local. Po

Great little pub - ales always in perfect nick. Smart, traditional decor and a good atmosphere. Nice garden area too. Only loses a star as they could do with a few more guest beers.

I've been to this boozer a few times, visiting from London a friend that lives in the neighbourhood, and I can't recommend it enough!!! This cute little pub has so much more to offer than may beat the eye, especially during these times; apart from its top quility ales, superb beers and how Sam made us feel very welcome indeed, it's one of the safest, most 'Covid Conscious' establishments I've been to so far, going out & beyond, and this comes from a person who's worked in the industry for years. Respect!

Lovely pub with Character. One of the nice pubs in Brampton. Recently decorated and upgraded rear beer garden. Owned by Brampton brewery who seem to have a eye for keeping their pubs current and still able to retain a nice homely feel. Its the sort of pub you would want to make your local. Good ales too. Hope they get more pubs in Brampton (Anchor, Barrel or the Alma perhaps?)

Lovely cosy pub with a great selection of real ales and ciders. Friendly bar staff, one of my favourites in Chesterfield and probably the best along the Brampton Mile in my humble opinion.

Nice pub, I feel comfortable in this pub only wish that the young men that go in there didn't use the F word so often , swearing should be band in pubs aspesially as children are sometimes present.

I called in at the Tramway Tavern for a couple of drinks as I was in the vicinity of Chatsworth Road. I was really impressed with this Pub. Clean , comfortable and a really traditional Pub feel and ambiance. Service was very friendly and a wide range of drinks are available to the discerning Customer. The Pub was quiet , as it was early evening , but this gave me the opportunity to have a good look at it. I enjoyed my stay there and I will certainly return. Thumbs Up ! A strong recommendation from me !

Great pub for beer fans. Always a good range on - but what makes the Tramway stand out is that the bar staff always know about the beers. Where they're from, what hops, etc.. Makes the difference for me.

Newly created outside area at the back has put the Tramway back on the route for sunny days in Brampton.

Read good reviews about thus pub but slightly disappointed. Pub in the Brampton area of Chesterfield (west side on the Chatsworth Road). Well presented outside and in. Brampton ales served. First pint was very good but the second was on the way out and I should have taken it back but the staff were very disengaged and bordering on unpleasant. Complete opposite to the staff up the road at The Tap - better option if in the area. If doing a pub crawl would give it another go. Within walking distance of Chesterfield town centre but a long way to the railway station
