Been many times before lockdown and so so glad to see it open again. It’s the best place for a home cooked breakfast, it’s pristine, service is fantastic. They also do homemade cakes, tried the cornflake tart just lovely. I can’t fault it 👌

AWFUL. SERVICE ... CARVERY NOT VERY WARM. OTHER FOOD BURNT... SLOW MOSTLY UNAVAILABLE STAFF... PAYMENT OF MEALS WAS A MESS, NO RECEIPTS GIVEN. LACK OF ANY FORM OF CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE STAFF. IF YOU FIND ANYONE. A REVIEW BY ANOTHER GUEST WAS ENTERED HERE, BUT APPEARS TO HAVE DISAPPEARED

Best Sunday carvery in the area. I go every week I can go. My missis is a bit new age and lost the art of cooking along the way so it's my stable meal of the week. Amazing! Oh yes as rarity they do lamb too on the meat carving station!

My friend and I went to see what the refurb had to offer… it was ok. Few rough edges, however designed nice and homely. Ordered from the menu…. 2 lime and sodas £7.80!!!!! Now I am happy to spend but that was the most expensive I have ever paid even London doesn’t charge that!!!! I drink it because it isn’t overly sweet like soft drinks. Not because of cost. So we said food better be good as that would most definitely stop me going again. We ordered a burrito and a burger. Half an hour it turned up. This didn’t bother us too much as we were talking….. well… £37(not inc drinks) and it was stone cold!!! The tots were soggy, burger turned up in a take away carton no cutlery, when I asked I got 1 napkin and a wooden fork!! No offer of sauces. It felt like a greasy spoon had an apprentice arrive on their first day. My friend says the burrito was slightly better but like warm and a bit dry. The atmosphere was non existent, there was a table of regulars with dogs who were spoken to but other that, nothing. Very disappointing. We won’t be bothering again. Last thoughts… overpriced, too slow and needs more ambiance.

They called me, claiming to be from Vodafone. It came up as "Jeera", and when I searched the number, it was on their website. This makes me think that the restaurant is a front for scam callers to operate from or something. If they are not a front, then they need to change their number. If they are, then I wouldn't eat their food if someone paid me, since if their food is as good as their ability to pull off a convincing scam, then it can't be very good at all.
