Best Sunday carvery in the area. I go every week I can go. My missis is a bit new age and lost the art of cooking along the way so it's my stable meal of the week. Amazing! Oh yes as rarity they do lamb too on the meat carving station!

Attended a private party food and drink was good had a wonderful evening meeting lots of friends from the past

Visited here with family after reading great reviews, unfortunately we were a little disappointed. On arrival, the restaurant was cold and poorly lit, with numerous bulbs appearing to not work. The service was average, as was the food. There was enough choice but the vegetarian option was dry and unappetising and the roast potatoes were soggy. The rest was OK I guess, but I wouldn't say I enjoyed it. I dont think id go again when we have many more choices round about.

Best carvery I've had for a number of years. Very nice venue and staff were great, very attentive and kept the drink flowing and the food came out quick. Had to tick what we wanted from a list but the servings were plentiful. I'll be back again soon over the coming weeks. Great value for money.

They have changed the name so it is no longer under Codnor Castle Inn, so this may make it more difficult to find. It is now under ormando feilds.

Had a 50th party here. The staff pulled down the family decorations the food was awful and no deserts were served. On both occasions I went to the bar I had to tell them not to do my drink in the dirty glass they grabbed !!

What an absolute shambles christmas day dinner was. You need to be ashamed...over booked...dirty tablecloths...no cutlery...no crackers...half starters served...no rurkey...no veg left...where do i end. Disgraceful

Fabulous food and carvery, lovely friendly staff and excellent value for money in a pleasant setting.

I held my 50th birthday party here on Saturday 5th Aug, I had a fantastic evening, the room looked faboulous and was decorated with white and gold tablecloths, there was plenty of tables and seating and the buffet was amazing, absolutely delicious, everyone at my party said it was the best they'd ever been too and how lovley the venue was and the food. George was so lovley and helpful, I would recommend this venue and will definitely booked another party here. THANK YOU GEORGE!!
