Prince of Wales pub, Shippon. Had a Sunday roast here for about 18 guests to celebrate my mothers 90th birthday. Nic and her team worked closely with me to ensure the occasion went off without a hitch, even accommodating my father in his wheel chair and his height adjustable table. The food was excellent and the addition of the log fire made for a convivial atmosphere. Many thanks Nic for a wonderful afternoon that all enjoyed and commented upon what a lovely venue you have..

Sotto es uno de los favoritos de nuestra familia. Buena comida, personal amable y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Nunca hemos tenido una mala comida aquí y sin duda lo recomendaría para una comida.

Apologies that this comment is not about the quality of the food. However, as a business owner and chef, I believe responsibility and integrity are just as important as skill. No matter how talented a chef is, if they are irresponsible and refuse to pay what you owe, your character will overshadow their cooking. Good food cannot make up for bad ethics—no matter where you move. Run away is not the solution for the problem You’ve made. Hope “you” will respond to your responsibility!! From your ex-landlord.

Butterfingers Manchester Servicio grosero. 979610164 La mujer que me servía era bastante grosera cuando pedí un desayuno vegetariano y era miserable. Llegué a la caja, el chef, que era agradable en realidad salió a preguntarme lo que quería y me dijo que había una mesa lista que aprecio. La mujer, por otro lado, ni siquiera me miró, sino que empezó a escribir mi pedido. Cuando me distraje momentáneamente, ella ni siquiera tenía los modales de decir: "Disculpe amor/señor, pero eso son seis libras por favor", en cambio me repitieron "seis libras" tres veces de una manera agresiva y rápida. De todas formas, me senté a esperar el desayuno y seguro que la mujer sale de la cocina con la comida; antes de que recibiera el plato, simplemente se calienta. Por el contrario, ella podría haber dicho cortésmente "Cuidado amor / señor, la comida está bastante caliente", o algo dicho de una manera que demuestra que en realidad quería que me quedara a comer.

Used to come here a lot and in the past have 5 star reviewed. 2nd time visit where we've been really disappointed 😞 prices have gone up, quality has gone down. 45 min wait! Those lovely slices fried mushrooms on sourdough that we used to get have been replaced with large whole field mushrooms that were really tuff ( think been in oven since breakfast service) with wet cream on soggy bread. Really unpleasant. We left a ours pretty much untouched, waitress just seemed to ignore this. £15 chicken , bacon advcado salad was basically some mixed leaves with some fried chicken quojons on top, didn't see the bacon. We did mention to waitress but they just said the menu had changed. Spent £73! This used to serve lovely fresh home cooked food which made them stand out above the chains. Such a shame as we love to support smaller local businesses but we won't be returning sadly.

This bookshop is very well-stocked and covers a wide range of subjects and genres. Definitely set some time aside to visit, because there is a lot to browse.

Llamé al restaurante para reservar una mesa para las 9 y les pregunté dónde podía ver el menú sentado ya que el único menú visible en su sitio web era el menú para llevar. Por experiencia sentado en y menús para llevar varían, por lo que no era una pregunta irrazonable. En lugar de ser servicial, la persona que respondía a la llamada era muy despectiva y no entendía lo que se le preguntaba. Afirmaron que sentarse en los menús solo se comparten cuando se hacen reservas! No me importa cuántos premios locales este lugar ha recibido, si no pueden proporcionar un menú sentado a los clientes para revisar antes de la reserva, entonces es un lugar que no vale la pena visitar.

Awesome tasty food and wine, served in lovely atmosphere. Very interesting and tasty fayre. Great Rioja wine and a sensational rum/chocolate torte 😘
