The best restaurants in United Kingdom

This morning (Monday) me and Hubby popped in here for a light snack. It is situated opposite Wetherspoons. The lady behind the counter was helpful and friendly. There are only a few tables inside. They offer a takeway service as well. We enjoyed a large pot of tea (I liked the vintage crockery) and 2 slices of freshly baked cakes. I chose one with a caramel topping (Hubby chose the raspberry topping). The total bill came to £5.50 which we had to pay by cash as they haven't got a card machine. The toilet was clean and tidy to use.

We called in on the way to North Yorkshire, it was a little hard to find(we nearly gave up but we’re ravenous so persevered) found it alongside the river…. The clue is in the name🙄 the food is not fancy but beautifully cooked and really well priced. Scampi and chips and burger and chips for around £25. Nice pub feel and the staff are lovely.

Only called in for a drink but was pleasantly surprised the place is very small but comfortable, a large selection of beers and wine. After living in Spain for 10 years this is the closest you will get to the authentic Spain. Great staff knowledgeable and friendly will definitely be coming back.

Have this every Thursday with my uncle, probably my favourite night of the week and the one I most look forward to after work. Amazing food at amazing prices, served by lovely staff! 5* from me!

We visited this lovely cafe in M&Co. for what maybe the last time as all the M&Co. shops are closing. We had a lovely coffee and toasted teacake and spoke to the manager who was really upset that he and his staff would have to leave. This cafe is so reasonably priced and the staff are so friendly and helpful. A real loss to Chesham.

Tuvimos a mis hermanas despertar aquí .. habitación es hermosa y el personal donde brillante y la comida era excelente. Joe hizo muy fácil para mí reservar el buffet y nada era demasiado problema para él ... todo el mundo comentó sobre la calidad de la comida. 5 estrellas

Excellent meals, massive portions and the staff are great well worth the money and the wait yummy from start to finish

We were looking for somewhere in Brampton where we’d never been before and decided to try Pippa’s. I had the quiche with salad, coleslaw and crisps which was lovely and my daughter had the all day breakfast which she described as epic! It did look wonderful. Pretty tearoom with friendly staff and quick service. We will definitely come again 😊

They set the standard for all hotels they make you feel.so welcome from the momet you arrive till you leave .The rooms are fab as are the grounds ..and the food they serve is also top notch

We were recommended here for steak pie.. My son who is autistic says the best ever. I had macaroni pie, the best ever too. Then to finish, a millionaire shortbread... It just melted in your mouth. We will definitely be back. It is dear but worth every penny when the food exceeds your expectations.

Great coffee and good selection of outdoor clothing and equipment, lots of local books and information. Try the Guinness muffin!

Catered for a course I ran; absolutely amazing sandwiches! Fully catered for all our needs, and everyone commented on how good they were. Cannot recommend highly enough! And great to support a local business too! Thanks Joe 😊
