Mapps in Hackney

Probably one of the best, friendliest, non-greasy greasy spoons I’ve been to in the whole of London, with a lovely owner, ‘H’, who is a true pillar of the community. Massive portions, cooked to perfection, Fish and chips to die for, Fish and Chips to die for, and always a warm and happy vibe. If you’re hungry and like networking, or just need your spirit lifting a little, this is the place to be, plus it’s excellent value for money. People always leave smiling. Long may it live!

good food at a good price, portions are large and a nice bit of bubble, just like the old fashioned east london cafes , the owner is pleasant and would even sort your parking out with vouchers cheaper than the machines, 15 min walk to the ⚒⚒

Had a full English breakfast here. Was very good. Service was good also. There was eight of us and everyone was impressed. Will be using this cafe again this coming Wednesday.

Comida deliciosa, servicio excelente, estacionamiento justo afuera y estoy seguro de que el dueño solía jugar para los Spurs. No te puedes equivocar comiendo aquí.

Habiendo vivido en el área durante 25 años, Mapps es el original. Cuando todo lo demás eran cobertizos de hojalata y almacenes vacíos, estaban abiertos y nos daban de comer. Gracias por todas las comidas chaps.

I travel around the South East a lot and visit a lot of cafes for breakfast. This is the best place I have visited for years. The food was delicious, service was fast and friendly and it was cheap! Worth a visit to Hackney just to have breakfast at this place.
