Sometimes, just sometimes you can come across a food shop which ticks all of your boxes - and more. This is such a place. What was on offer was superb and the young lady who made up my order not only knew what she was doing but prepared it excellently as I watched. I wish I lived nearer.

Always buy bread from here every time we visit Dolgellau. The staff are so helpful and I have struggled to resist the sausage rolls.

We bought some home made bread here and it was lovely. The baker clearly knows what he's doing. The cakes looked lovely too and the pastries. Planning on taking some of these back to South Wales with us on Monday.

My wife and I had a sausage roll each and a piece of chocolate cake too. The sausage rolls were to die for. Very savoury indeed and most enjoyable. The cake was quite nice too although this is my wifes domain. I am diabetic and so I should just be looking really. The young lady that served us was very cheerful and friendly as she was the last time we visited. We had a cup of tea and a Latte which surprised us a bit as it cost us quite a bit less than their Machynlleth shop. These folks bend over backwards to be helpful, never rude to you which I really think is important as you get older. Nothing appears to be too much trouble. Very nice venue. I should also add that we purchased a large loaf of bread from her to take home, It was delicious. Well worth another visit I think however, Don't expect a 3 course meal rather a bacon or other type of filling in a roll or sandwich or perhaps a Pasty or Pie.

Had lunch here, lovely and reasonable price! Had chicken and cheese baguette with a packet of crisps and a drink for £4.50. That's a good price and I would visit again :)

Mix together an amazing choice of breads (including vegan and gluten free), great cakes, sandwiches with lots of filling choices, chilled and hot drinks and a very knowledgeable and friendly owner and to my mind you have the best bakery in town. The only thing missing are honey buns ;)

Staying nearby we decided to pop into one of our nearby local pubs and to our delight we found it very friendly and welcoming my wife and I can highly recommend it if you are considering dropping in

Had a two night stay here over the weekend of the 6th Sept and what a wonderful little place it is. Emma and Menno were the most welcoming, friendly hosts and we immediately felt like this was a home from home, our room was very cosy and complete with home made Welsh cakes that went down a treat with a cup of tea after the long drive. The breakfasts were amazing and with the added twist of a Dutch breakfast option courtesy of Menno. The tea rooms are currently closed allowing for a lovely spacious breakfast room which is decorated with photos and keepsakes from all over the world. Emma gave us pointers on the local eateries and places to go and even filled up our water bottles for us when we went out on our hike. This is a fantastic base for walking with easy access to both the Rydd Ddu, and Snowdon Ranger paths up Snowdon as well as having several lakes and close by to the Nantile Ridge. Ty Mawr is currently up for sale which is a shame because we would definitely stay again. Thank you Emma and Menno for giving us a really lovely stay.
