Scuttlers Wine Bar in Manchester

Although just on the edge of the northern Quarter this has a different feel to most of the bars around there. It is a relaxed place that attracts a mature crowd and, although it can get busy, it has a really friendly atmosphere. They keep the beer very well and have a good selection of reasonable prices. Try and get the seats by the window as you get a great view of everything going on outside. There is a beer garden on top of that not many know about as well which is well worth a visit.

We have been using this place for years and always enjoyed ourselves. It was handily placed by the bus station and not too far from Victoria train station. It does get busy and it is no surprise why. It offers an excellent range of beers at good prices and has a small sun terrace in the summer. In the winter it is cosy and friendly as it attracts and mature crowd. The service is always really friendly and The prices are reasonable for a city centre pub.

We were in the area on a Saturday night and figured it would be hard to find a place to grab a quick drink. After walking down the main street, we found the Scuttlers Wine Bar and ducked in to grab the last table. Scuttlers is a small bar that has an old pub feel with a good wine and beer selection. Service was good and prices were right. Step out of the crowds and spend some time in Scuttlers.

Set just opposite Shudehill bus station this pub is a great location for couple of pints. It has something for everyone and is a very popular pub with locals and returning customers. The drinks are very well-kept and they have a good range of bitters. Prices are about right for the city centre and the bar staff are great.Give me this place over the plastic bars in the print works any day!

This has been a local of ours for many, many years and never lets you down. It seems no matter what time of day you go there it is busy and there is good reason for that. Set right by Shudehill bus station it is a good central location and has some excellent guest beers. The service is always quick and friendly and the prices are pretty good for city centre. If you’re struggling for a seat downstairs then there is another big area upstairs as well.
