I recently visited the Wild River Coffee Shop in Polperro, and it was an absolute delight! Nestled in the main street, this cozy coffee shop offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The freshly roasted, single-origin coffee is a must-try (you can even buy some to take home!), and the homemade cakes are perfect.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable even though the weather was awful. Definitely worth popping in if you are even in the area.
Fabulous beef with trimmings Baguette this morning
Coffee as always freshly made 100 percent flavour
All pastries and tarts hand made and delicious
Thank you as always
“Simply The Best “
Travelling across to the Lake District we were looking for somewhere to eat relatively near the A66 that welcomed families and dogs. We happened to find the Three Greyhounds on line and were really pleased we did. It’s a lovely warm, welcoming pub with fantastic food. Our kids loved the pizzas and we had sausages and mash & the steak pie. The portion size was just right and the meals were delicious. We’d definitely recommend a visit!
Ashfields far exceeded our expectations. Friendly, welcoming servers and outstanding food. Every effort was made to ensure we had a positive dining experience and I would definitely recommend a visit. Excited to see what the 2024/25 programme of events has to offer.

It's a great place for eat in or take away. Amazing falafel wraps served with plenty of options - both veg and non-veg. The best part is that it is the most affordable tummy full food one can get in the town.
We’ve visited the Bar and Grill many times and as a result have high expectations!
I’ll begin with the negative. Tuesday evening, 6.30pm booking. No steaks available. I appreciate that you rely on suppliers but this was a disappointment.
No matter, we ordered the pie of the day and a burger with gnocchi staters.
The food was outstanding, as we have come to expect. Great presentation, well cooked and very good service. This restaurant has become our “go to” choice in Brackley and despite the absence of the steaks it lived up to expectations. Thank you and we look forward to the next visit!
Lovely cafe. My husband and I had coffees and cake. Both were delicious. The meals being served to other customers looked very good. Next time we will visit for a main meal. The cafe is dog friendly...while we were there, people brought in their dogs...seven in all.
We decided to try Sunday lunch here, they don't offer roast, but the menu even though small, was varied, I chose the homemade Chicken pie and my partner the Schnitzel, both were delicious! The service also great, staff friendly and very attentive.
Bloody good food makes me smile every time, jerk chicken and a pint can’t beat it, the smell of the bbq that fills streets all year round pulls me back to buffalo soul ja every time, I fancy something tasty and spicy 👍🏻
