The best restaurants in United Kingdom

Been here twice now once for Sunday lunch and other time evening meal. All I can say is brilliant food is freshly prepared so have to wait but we'll worth it, both times we all agreed it was superb quality, cooked perfectly, quality produce. Oh and another big plus for us, hawkstones on tap great drink while waiting for great food 10 out of 10 all round

We ate in this lovely restaurant, the food was amazing and the staff was lovely. we had been working on the town moore for the celebrations and they even stayed open longer to accommodate us. couldn't recommend enough

Tiny hidden away place. Park for free outside the door and get inside. I've never been to a place that sells food and has a full gym right next to where you eat. I love pumping a bit of iron so it doesn't bother me but I've just never seen this setup before. As far as gym equipment goes it's all the proper Olympic bars and decent racks, only 8 quid a session. Anyway back to the food. Quite a large menu to choose from but be aware there are only like 2 tables if you are sitting in. Food was all fine nothing mind blowing but fine. Would come back to hit the iron maybe.

Had drinks at a friend's birthday party and was pleased with the cost of our drinks. Space was tight for said party but it went ok.

We had a really great coffee and almond croissant, a must try! It was very good service and atmosphere at The Olive Tree, highly recommend!

Best Indian I’ve EVER had!! 500000/5 stars! I have come all the way from America and will be making this journey weekly if I have to! My husband loves the Bhuna and Madras curries, and I had the Lamb Explosion- if you like spice that dish is for you! Beyond the incredible food, the staff are so kind - if we could get them to sit and dine with us, we would!

Had breakfast here staff are so friendly and food delicious and so fresh. Coffee is lovely too! will definitely be back

This is now our favourite for Indian takeaway food. Highly recommend 👌 We have tried a few dishes now, and can't fault anything, it's all so tasty, decent portion sizes and reasonable pricing. Never had a problem with the length of delivery time either.

12.5% service charge way too much like in Brislington, even in Clifton it's around 10%

I booked an Afternoon Tea experience for my Mum's birthday. We had an exceptional experience, from the booking process through to the service and the food on the day. Google said the restaurant was closed and I was worried that it would be, but what an experience, the hotel honoured our booking and we had the whole place to ourselves, it was fantastic, a private dining Afternoon Tea! The service was 5*, Phoebe and Lauren were very attentive. Phoebe created the best Almond milk Cappucino I had ever had, it was amazing. The sandwiches were so fresh and we asked for vegetarian, they were so tasty, as was the cake selection. I would HIGHLY recommend the Meridian and would certainly return again! Thank You!

Absolutely delicious everytime! Its a must whenever we are passing through Ullapool. Lovely warm welcome. We had takeaway big breakfast, coffees, soup-all scrumptious. Sourdough bread is to die for. Well done guys :-)

Nice place for lunch, we had sausage bap and English breakfast, coffee and tea. All very good, nice inside too and great service.
