First time trying Ethiopian food and it was delicious. We tried one beef, one chicken, one lamb and one veggie dish - all very tasty but the shiro was my favourite! Restaurant was quiet on an early Saturday evening in January. Definitely recommend.

Went here last nite for first time with my friend.Think the waiter's name was Fazian and a lovely friendly guy he was. He was very attentive to our table and service and food was great .only negative is there was no dessert on menu and the lights in the booths were just a little too bright but the overall experience was good.They don't serve alcohol which wasn't a problem and they only take cash so go to ATM before you go.would definitely return.

What a hidden gem. We were staying overnight in Hope Street and decided to walk in and try the food. Staff and food were lovely and so reasonable. Would definitely recommend you try this lovely Bistro

Nos topamos con este lugar por accidente y estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho. La cerveza eritrea es preciosa, compartimos algunas sambosas y el plato de carne, que viene con mucha injera (panqueque - estilo pan plano). Todo estaba delicioso, algunos de los platos eran bastante picantes y disfrutamos comiendo con las manos / la injera. Nunca habíamos comido comida eritrea antes, pero estaríamos encantados de volver! Buena relación calidad-precio.

My friends and I had Christmas Lunch here, in 2022, it was beautiful, we booked somewhere else for 2023, no comparison at all. We decided to book again for our 2024 Christmas Lunch and we were not disappointed, food was served piping hot, on hot plates, turkey was very succulent, veg cooked to perfection, if I had 1 minor criticism it would be that the Brussels sprouts could have been cooked for slightly longer as they were very hard, other than that, it was perfection all they way, 2 of us had sticky ginger cake and 1 of us had Lemon & Lime Cheesecake, all absolutely beautiful. Staff were very attentive without being over the top, all in all we had a fantastic Christmas meal at a very reasonable price and we will definitely be returning next year. Thank you so much.

absolutely scrummy, this little gem does desserts of your dreams, (please note not meals) very good Coffee and Tea as well, Mum was impressed, and she didn't need to leave her wheelchair either, staff where very helpful, we will be back.

everthing is so delicious from the rice and meat to the traditional Ethiopian cuisine and portion sizes are huge ma'sha'Allah.

Really good authentic food. We tried the lamb awaze tibs and the mixed vegetarian platter. Everything was cooked amazingly and we especially enjoyed the lamb tibs which was of bigger portion than most of the other places we've been to. The sauce was extremely flavourful, perfect with injera.

Excellent food as always. The vegan options are varied and always tasty!

We ordered Shiaa and kisra with bamiya And it slapped!! They also got nice Basta
