Yetenbi Kitfo and Ethiopian Restaurant in Manchester

This was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had at an Ethiopian restaurant. The waitress was rude and condescending when I mentioned I would wait for my friend before placing an order. To make matters worse, a drunk customer interrupted our conversation and even joined our table uninvited, yet the staff did nothing to ensure our comfort or safety (not that we couldn't handle it ourselves if needed). When I raised this concern, I was surprised to hear they assumed the person was with us, despite him joining after we had already eaten. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. There are far better Ethiopian restaurants in Manchester that offer genuine hospitality.

It is a great hidden gem offering wife range of very tasteful Ethiopian cuisines.

I had a spicy lamb stew. Unfortunately it was okay at best. I could taste powdered spice and there was no side side to the meat. I also had a giant piece of bone without any meat on it. There are way better Ethiopian places in the area. Won't be back.

I was so excited to try this place and I could not be more impressed! The food was phenomenal and we were well guided to recommendations for food that would suit us. Cannot wait to go back!

Lovely woman running this place but unfortunately the food was disappointing — lack of meat and flavour in the dishes. Restaurant itself lacked atmosphere.

The food is tasty. They also can take over the phone order. For me, I made my order and payment while at home. Once the food was ready I ordered Uber and received it well packed.

This was the best food I’ve had all year. Really well priced, absolutely delicious and the chef was incredibly lovely. Me and all my friends will definitely be returning soon!
