Trying this restaurant for the first time must say food was good but still needs a little improvement especially with the condiment but overall the food was good especially the lamb and rice. Highly recommended you try it out.

We had an amazing experience at Bello’s Kitchen! I brought a group from out of town and we were well looked after. The owner is hands on with customers, quick to welcome, share her story, answer questions and accommodate needs. Everyone in our group was extremely satisfied. The food is outstanding! Packed with flavor! You simply must go to this restaurant!

I had the most incredible food and time. I hadn’t experienced Somalian food before and the owner personally helped us order. She came out and answered all of our questions about how she got started. You could tell that the costumers knew the owner and she knew them. Everything was fresh and made to order. If you are in Manchester it is a MUST!

This is the first time visiting and definitely will not be the last. From the beginning to end the experience was 5* plus. The food was delicious (dynamite box) the drinks were 😍. But the service was very warming and remarkable. The young female was so attentive and polite her smile was just as beautiful and she made the whole experience that extra special. Authentic home cooked food, you can just tell its been cooked with a passion! Very tasty and filling, great portion sizes. Definitely will revisit and recommend.

Great food, the lamb was melting in the mouth and the rice was really nice! Will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

I have eaten from this put on many events. To date I can't blame either the food or the assistance from the beautiful staff. My #1 dish is their salmon with rice and salad. Likewise their African tea is generally excellent. I enthusiastically suggest this spot.

Staff spoke very little English so was very hard to communicate with her. Food was not as traditional as I would expect for somali food. Honestly, can't recommend.

When is restaurant ever open? Every time I try to order on Uber eats it unavailable.

Brilliant food and great service, will definitely come again. My wife and I took our dads and they were really impressed. Just asked for what the chef recommended and it was great, really tender lamb, tasty pasta and great tea. Even went back the next day for the tea!

We went here at Eid '21. They were doing a roaring trade but we still got our food really quickly. Really liked the special tea. Thanks guys.

The rice is absolutely delectable, the Haneed dish, which I believe is lamb shoulder is "Get outta Here georgeous", the lamb literally falls off the bone. My friend who is vegetarian ate the pasta minimale, which again sounds so basic but is so tasty!. Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed the food. This is now our go to food spot.

There is not enough starts to express the quality. The variety of dishes and brews. My wife’s favourite is the seabass, generous portions with sides hummus and soup. Lovely meal. And after meal there is this this proper cuppa Chai!!! Reminded me my travels in India back in the days. Must try!

A perfectly placed East African cuisine in the heart of the Somali community with a calm ambiance. The food is reminiscent of home with an excellent taste and welcoming staff. Will be returning often and would certainly like to recommend.

Excellent fish options, Soomaal get the grilled flavour so well... if you’re hungry don’t worry portions exceed satisfying... always finish with the tea, it’s moorish and with good music you might be there a while... After lockdown of course, lucky they’re doing takeout!

Absolute rare find!. A 5* East African themed restaurant in the heart of the East African Community. We ordered a Saturday Family Feast of Celebration Rice with Salmon, Roasted Lamb and Chicken Mishkaki....every spoonful was heavenly.

Honestly the best lamb I've tasted. A rare find, not many East African restaurants about. A really good amount of food for the price and a lovely atmosphere. The owner is lovely and we had a nice chat and some complimentary tea. 10/10 would highly recommend. We had fava bean soup, lentil soup, rice, salad and bread, all really tasty. Had soor iyo hilib yesterday at cafe Soomaal and it was delicious 😋. Then there was the dagajibiye tea! Can't describe the experience. Just ask for it when you visit them.
